Nurses and other staff not very sensitive to wt loss pt emotional needs. Overall, very good with pain management.

some of the equipment seemed a little old,but the staff was wonderful

The staff was excellent!!! accomodated me very well. Can't say anything bad about the staff but the housekeeping staff that is another story. I was admitted on Nov.24,03 for my surgery and had to use the bathroom in the outside hall because mine broke. A label fell of my iv duing my inital stay and I had to be readdmitted a week later for drug allergy. I used that bathroom a week later and there laid my label from a week ago on the floor, bandaids in the tub it was gross. Also the room upkeep was horible by housekeeping.

Everyone I came in contact with was positive and friendly. the care was above average and I would recomend this hospital to all who are having this surgery in the future.

I can't say I would have been exactly HAPPY in ANY hospital I was in.. I was miserable.. I do however think that some of the nurses were cold and uncaring. I hear thats becoming common everywhere though! Too bad because a little nice goes a lonnnng way.
