Hello my RnY comrades-in-arms! Happy Tuesday!

I wish you all could see the pure joy with which the black lab I'm pet-sitting bounds after sticks thrown into the water. Sheer, fierce, unadulterated joy, over and over and over! Then she races out of the water, stick in mouth, and runs in wild leaping circles before plopping down to wriggle enthusiastically in the grass, all 4 legs paddling in the air, moaning ecstatically. She is an absolute inspiration in living in the moment! I've been taking her to the beach every day. I'm a lousy stick-thrower, but we have a great time anyway.

Qotd: Greece! Italy! A Martha Stewart home/farm in Connecticut! Me too for all the above! But probably first, a beautiful home in the 16th Arrondissment in Paris.

first: Tea. At least 38 ounces to start the day.

B: Ham with smoked gouda

L: London broil

D: tuna (or possibly some smoked oysters)

S: more ham

Have a beauty of a day!

Dogs really do know how to live in the joy of the moment! I do so enjoy sharing those moments!

That's one thing I love about Lily too. She's so focused on the little details like smells or a pretty flower and makes me slow down and notice things too. She is so excited to see you when you come back from being gone,too--even if its only been a minute. You can't help but feel loved when she's wriggling and smiling and rubbing against you.
