Actually, it IS what the updated guidelines say.  The ASMBS updated their guidelines in March 2013. So..... two years ago. Even the "new" isn't all that new anymore, is it.

You got some balls honey.  Maybe YOU should open one of the what seven links people have posted and read the CORRECT INFORMATION before you open your mouth. 

And as for lost vets.  Its more like they got sick of the know it alls who wouldn't listen to what they were trying to tell them.

I am not sure what the latest info is on NSAIDs - maybe nobody should take them? this is Tee's birthday - and Tee is dead of liver cancer.

she would be the first person to tell you beware of NSAIDs - they are hard on your liver. and so is being obese and so is having had WLS and losing a lot of weight.

I really don't know the answer, but you need your liver. beware, folks.

I believe her first cancer was cancer of the appendix - strange, because I had never heard of that before and it seems as if it would be innocuous!  She also had WLS 30++ years ago and had been ill for many years before she had RNY, which was almost a "rescue" surgery for her.

I miss her!

I thought her cancer was in her liver - I know she frequently told me and others that being obese was hard on your liver, losing weight quickly (as with any WLS) was hard on your liver and NSAIDs are hard on your liver.

you just mention having a glass of wine and she would tell you.  I hope her husband is OK.

Just for clarification.  NSAIDS are processed thru the Kidneys - Acetaminophen ( Tylenol) is processed thru the liver.
