This delicious Burger Dip Recipe is freezer-friendly and gluten-free. Forever, this has been my most requested “men’s dip” for watching sporting events on television, get-together, and a favorite anytime. It is a hearty dip that everyone enjoys and returns for seconds (and thirds).

Burger Dip Recipe

Makes 20 (1/4-cup) servings

Prep time: 5 minutes; Cook Time: 10 minutes; Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar salsa
  • 1 (8-ounce) package shredded Mexican-blend cheese

Directions

  1. In a nonstick pot, cook the meat and mushrooms over medium heat for 5–7 minutes.
  2. When the meat is done, drain any excess fat.
  3. Add salsa and cheese, stirring over medium heat, until cheese is melted.

Serving Suggestion:  You can serve this dip with chopped, raw vegetables, your favorite tortilla chips, low-carb chips. If you have any leftover dip, you can turn it into a delicious meat tossed with pasta or serve over rice.
