I am with you all. Im March 9th! Im scared but Im super excited at the same time. All normal. Im on optifast because I didnt loose the weight at first. I started on thursday the 26th and Im already down 7 lbs and hoping for 8 more. *crosses fingers* I hope everyone has the most painless procedure and recovers as fast as possible =)

My surg is scheduled for 3/18 so I know what you're feeling. Have you found any info to address this? I am so excited but scared at same time. :)

My surgery is March 17th and I'm starting to get a bit worried too, but mostly I tell myself I'm going to be ok and that this IS what I want and mostly I'm excited. I don't have any statistics for you other than the death rate is low. Try not to focus on what "might" happen and instead focus on the statistic that people who have the surgery and much more likely to live LONGER than those who don't rather than the opposite. Hang in there, our dates will get here soon and we'll be on the other side before we know it!

I live on the Canadian east coast and I've been snowed in all day, Left me all kinds of time to research MDs, etc, I think I am driving myself crazy. My surgery date is March 16 in Tijuana with Dr. Verboonen. I am not married and haven't told anyone what I am doing. You are very blessed to have such a supportive husband .
Might be worth it just getting out of this snow,
