YEAH!!! I started my pureed food yesterday and it was the best.. I thought I would have never been so excited for pureed chicken!!!

Topic: I think my work is making me stay home until 5/10/10
My Ladies,
I am so upset! My boss called me today and said that she thinks that I will need to stay off until the 10th. Dr. Myers put the 10th on my FMLA form and I know that I had another surgery after that but I thought I could go back when I felt up to it. My boss thinks I will need a release to come back before then..... Well Dr. Myers is in Europe until 5/14 and my doc that removed my gall bladder already had me going back in two weeks....

I was on full liquids for 3 weeks after I came home.. Ended up in the hospital with Gall Bladder problems but I started my pureed food yesterday... Loved mY egg!!!! Tonight I had shrimp.. It was very yummy!!!

Went to my 3 week check up and nutrition class today!! Not including Pre-Op since surgery I have lost 15 lbs :)
I am so excited I ate tuna tonight for dinner.....Never thought I'd be thrilled about that :)

I knew night time was a problem so for the weeks/months before surgery I made an effort to not eat after dinner. I kind of do things a little differently, I have some broth or soup now a little after dinner settles. It helps that my hubby doesn't snack, AT ALL. Its weird. So I don't really have the temptations.
