Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Surgery was yesterday 6:30 am lasted about 4 hours. I passed the leak test this morning which means I get my medicine by mouth now and I miss the good stuff! Dr.Kim said I had a lot of scaring from all of the lapband issues, but he got it done. I won't get to go home until Friday or Saturday. Nothing I read could have prepared me for the pain. It is starting to get better, but yesterday they wanted me up and walking and I think I seen Jesus 3 times! I will give more updates soon.
Thanks again for thinking of me.

You really shouldnt be in any pain, thanks to pain meds. I alternated between two different pain meds in the hospital and for the first week at home. I made the mistake in the hospital of thinking I didnt need them. Don't let the pain meds wear off. You will feel so much better. Good luck!

Oh boy, I am sorry you had so much pain. I remember agony with my first surgery, a VSG. Not fun. But the worst is over, you will keep getting better every day. It will get noticeably better and the pain will be behind you. I wish you well!!   -Michelle
