I live on the south end by Ivy Tech and we had lots of lightening and wind but not as bad as some areas I have been hearing about. I hope we get a reprieve for a little while so that the ground can dry some. I need to mow my yard!

I have not wanted to be up and about today. Guess I am having just one of those days. I really thought I would be wearing a size 12 by now but evidently my hips say NO lol.

I hope Mikey gets to play football and enjoy himself. I will be praying that the visit goes well. Take care of yourself as well...you didnt say how you were doing?

Did you all have more storms last night? We did. The McDonald's near our house has a drainage problem in the parking lot. Everytime we drive by lately, we refer to it as "McLake". It actually has waves this morning.

I had a hard time getting up and getting going, but I'm at work now, and ready to go. Mike has to take Mikey to Indy today to see the neurologist for a follow-up appointment. We're hoping she lifts his restrictions, so he can play football this fall. He really enjoyed it in fifth grade.

Today my goal is to walk on both my breaks at work.

Dont give up.. Maybe you just need to look for another surgeon who is closer? When I first started this journey I had my heart set on a surgeon in Carmel.. she was wonderful but the drive there was too much for me as well and I couldnt meet all their requirements. I started over this past April and as of last Friday I now have a surgery date. You can still get this done... dont give up yet!
