Gotta love this weather, eh? I'm ready for Spring. I'm originally from NC so this is all foreign to me. Lol We rarely ever got snow & when we did it melted the same or next day. How is everyone fairing out there?

The Essentia group no longer meets. The Sanford group meets at Family Wellness the last Tuesday of the month at 630. There is a group that meets at Old Chicago in the evening, but not sure when they meet. There is a Essentia day group that meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:00. They meet at the South University clinic. Take the Red elevator to the lower level and it is in the conference room on the right. This is lead by a dietician. Normally those that meet are those that have appointments or thoses that are new postop patients.

The Sanford support group meets the last Tuesday of the month at the Family Wellness Center at 6:30 I believe that time is right. I don't get out there as much as I would like to, it just doesn't seem to work out most the time. I'm sure someone will correct me if the time is wrong but I'm pretty sure that's right. It's a decent sized group too. I would check it out. Good Luck!

Im going to St Alexis in Bismark my doctor is Brandon Helbling. I liked him , he has a great bed side manner and gave me opportunity to ask questions , he said he had done many Rny s that is what I am having done. I have a surgery date Feb 14th , I start the liquid diet on Jan 31. Good luck on your journey.

Sanford has the local bariatric program in Fargo. They are located on 1717 University Drive, their number is 701-234-2000.
Hope this is helpful. They have 3 Doctors on board. I believe the head of the department is Dr. Luis Garcia.

I had my VSG in Mexico...but I am currently a doctoral student at NDSU and I am looking into doing my dissertation centered around bariatric patients 3+ years out...I was told there was a well-known bariatric center around here who I may be able to work with...does anyone know the name of it?
