6 Month Check-up

I had my 6 month check-up last week (Dec. 27).  All is well.  Iron good; Vit A on the line, but told not to worry about it; losing an average of 2lbs./week.  I need to see my GP to get my zinc done, since their 'machine' that does that was down when I did my tests, but other than that, I'm good for another 6 months.

St. Joe's doesn't do 9 month check-ups anymore, so I'm not bac****il my 1 year.

I also asked about a goal weight, since I wasn't given one.  The dietician said they don't do that because they don't want people to feel pressured/depressed if they don't make it.  It's all about you and where you feel comfortable with it.  No pressure.

(I haven't been on the boards for a few weeks.  Decided to have a computer-free Xmas break.)

That's good news Beth.  Love it when it goes well and nothing but positive.

Kinda like their thinking about no goal.  I didn't get one either but didn't ask, probably same reason.

Hope you had a great computer-free Christmas break...lol...I sure did!

I'm glad your appointment went well.
I was at St. Joe's as well and they never mentioned goal weight. I'm back at Windsor and so far they haven't mentioned it either. Good thinking on both ends.

Love the no stress weight loss.  It is very pressured to meet a particular goal based on what someone else picks for you.

Congrats on your appointment.
