Day 3 at TWH

 First off, Dawn and Tamara are great caring nurses. Anyone that has them is blessed.

I slept better ast night but as usual quite poorly. I generally sleep poorly away from home, as most people do. 

I am hoping to be discharged today. I'd like to get home to my wife and daughter. I think I am healthy enough to go. I guess I'll have to wait to hear from Dr. Urbach.

My roommate had emergency surgery to repair a hernia in his large intestine. He is in great shape and as been walking around the whole hospital. It makes me a bit jealous. I'll get there soon enough

 I've been walking a lot this morning and a bunch yesterday. Dr. Urbach's assisting surgeon just did my rounds and said I can go home if my bloodwork checks out. 

that's great, Dave! I'm sure your bloodwork will be perfect.

welcome to the bench Dave...........I know when i was in for 3 days I was so excited to get home and be with the family.......it makes the whole difference in the world to have your family around and be in your own bed!!!

Keep up the great work..........I am now 3 weeks post op any questiones feel free to ask.
