Oh, isn't it wonderful?
Sunny and hot, a long weekend in view, all kinds of festivities going on ... on days like this, I wonder that I get depressed, seems impossible at the moment.

 B - bowl of whole grain cereal, 1/2 banana, large coffee
 S - 1/2 c cottage cheese (1%) w fresh strawberries, 2nd coffee
 L - 1/2 Italian veal sandwich w mushrooms & onions (left top of bun off)
 S - 1 pear, 21 g cheddar
 D - leftover Pad Thai w shrimp & chicken.

 day 12 of preop diet only 9 more days to go

b egg on slice of acient grains toast with a cup of chocolate caramel coffee black sweetened with stevia
l 4 oz fish 1 cup salad greens
d 4 oz fish 1 cup salad greens gold ball sized potato

s slice of acient grains toast 1/2 sliced peppers

trying to stay hydrated in this heat

Just getting ready to head to the cottage for what looks like an amazing weekend.

B- protein shake and two cups decaf coffee (not together)

S- Greek yogurt

L- salad with chicken breast

S- 10 almonds

D- Halibut with side salad

WOOOT! I'm housesitting/babysitting for an Aunt with a pool. So I am very excited to lounge lazily by the pool this weekend!

B: 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1 tbsp hemp hearts, 1 tbsp flax, 3tbsp bran buds
S: 1/2 protein bar& tall deca w/FF milk and sweetner
L: 2oz curry chicken, 1/4 zucchini, onion and mushroom, 1/4 cup basmati rice
S: Don't think I'll have time. I have a pedicure after work
D: half a beef shawarma with hummus and veggies, no sauce.
S: 1tbsp PB, 1tbsp SF jam.

s protein bar

I bought some protein powder that was suppose to be this great all natural product. Well it seems Guar Gum is consider natural, just not for me. Also everytime i open the jar it smells like sheep. Could be my imagination since it comes from Austrailia but I do not like the smell of it. Maybe if i left the lid off it would start to smell better.

 I wonder about why I get depressed when it is nice out.  Here's my take: I feel left out of life because of my weight/lack of socialization/alienation.  Underlying undertreated depression issues, food sensitivities (milk and grains for me) and self hate are also part of why nice days are hard too.  When it is gross out, I can say to myself that it's ok to hang out alone in the house.  When it is not, then the 'fault' is all mine.  That's harder to take.

So far the treatment is: go outside.  Do nothing outside if I want.  But be outside.
