Topic: Still waiting...

Orientation was January 29th. It's been 12 weeks as I was told it would take.

The lady at the clinic was less than helpful. Wouldn't look up my file and just said it will still be a few weeks and they'll call me when I come up in the queue.

Its really frustrating especially because I just saw a woman in a support group who had orientation is March just get a surgery date all because she said she walked into the clinic and asked for an appointment after a week and they put her in a cancellation. (No shade to her because I'd be psyched if it were me). Just sucks to be blown off every time I call... which I've called just once a week for the past 3 weeks.

sigh

I wanted to have surgery and be recovered before I have to go back to work in September. (I'm on an 18 month maternity leave).

At this point it feels like it's never going to happen.

Topic: What are you eating/doing Tuesday?

Good morning everyone!! I woke up so hungry this morning (well I guess I didn't wake up - because that would imply that I actually slept), but anyway, I felt sick to my stomach is was so empty. Had a Premier Protein shake before hitting the shower. No gym this morning but get out for a walk at lunch.

Re-run of the blood work had me back in normal range for the things she re-tested. Have to go in two weeks for a full run again. WBC is low again. I don't recall being sick or fighting off anything.

B - left over pot roast

S - skyr raspberry yogurt, cheese

L - chicken, greek salad

S - meat stick and cheese maybe

D - taco casserole from a local caterer - when I ordered it I didn't realize it was layered with tortilla, I will have to dessicrate it to get my portion

Trucker is supposed to play ball tonight so if its not raining I'll go and watch.

Have a great day!

Thank you! I called two weeks ago and was told I should be called last week. No call. So I called again at the end of last week and the rude woman didn't look up my file, just basically said I will get a call when I get a call.

I think I'm going to call again this afternoon! I should hear any time now!

I was at Humber and I called, called, called. No shame. Don't care bout judgment. It's my life and my body and I did what I had to. Between orientation and surgery was less than a year. Keep calling. Some people are nicer than others.

It is not a question that they don't make money on it. Actually only get about $450.00 for doing it. It is the results as well. Panni only deals with the loose skin below belly button. Most of us have damage to the muscles underlying or have extra skin above belly button. Seen some picture of pure panni that did not have great results. The wait list for just panni can be up to 2 years.

I would see a couple of different surgeons to see what they recommend. There are different types of tummy tucks as well as 360 body lift or BELT that address many issues. I use Dr. Nandagopal at UScuplt for all my procedures.

You are NOT old.

Today is up in the air. I have a meeting this morning which is why I am at work, then I am taking a half day vacation simply because I don't want to sit here doing nothing.

I made these tasty lil treats for the break room yesterday.

The base is oreo golden thins and then cheese cake and then the jelly bellies or eggies. Licorice handles.
