Topic: What is on your Tuesday Menu?

I wil! go ahead and start because Jennifer is on vacation. I don't have any cute meme. It has been hot with lots of rain and rweather alerts about severe thunderstorms. Lots of people have lost power and internet from the storms. I ordered some Doors ash this see that was surprisingly good. A beef brisket sandwich from Army's that I added their barbeque sauce and a sandwich from Honey Baked Ham that had a glaze and a barbeque sauce and dill pickles. Half of that is waiting for me to have for lunch.

Cooking for one person is a challenge. But I will make ribs for the Fourth even though I will be at the pool at the country club and order food there. Some of my family will be there and I love to watch the kids in the pool.

Question of the Day: Do you prepare meals at home, go out to eat, or order takeout during a normal week? I fix most meals at home and go to really nice restaurants a few times a month. I order door ash when I don't feel like cooking or want to try something new. I often order a child's portion which is plenty for me and usually about $12. I still give sane tip I would give for adult serving and don't have leftovers.

Money for a cruise is. Much better than a gift you don't really want but have to keep because it is from a brothet. It was not a copout. It was smart. Your pictures are wonderful. You live in a great place.

Happy Friday Friday Friday.

It's a beautiful day to be alive. Tough week. From what seemed like 9 days, I'm Ready for the weekend. It's my sister's 40th today and we went to dinner last night. She had a massive cut of prime rib and I had shrimp dejonghe. For a present, I gave her money for the next cruise she takes. I hate giving cash as a present. It's always seemed like a cop out.

Weekend was great. I lived my best life.

QOTD- I live in a section of Chicago that is extremely popular with filming. Between Chicago PD, Chicago Med, Chicago Hope, Chicago named shows, other series, movies and superhero bat movies, the city issues filming permits almost everyday every year. My favorite movie with Chicago in the background is The Color of Money. The city is portrayed very accurately, if you ask me.

Chicago is the Key West of Toronto.

Hi, happy Weekend Eve! We are having some perfect weather today...high of 79! I have to drive out to the military base one more time for the med that they didn't have in stock earlier this week. Boy am I glad I don't work out there anymore, I don't miss that commute. We're a podunky little city but drivers aren't the best here, lol.

QOTD: I had to Google this because I only know of two (Bennie and Joon, Vision Quest) and one tv show (Z Nation). Apparently there were several others but I'm not a current cinema buff so I have no idea if they were popular or not. We get mail from the Screen Actor's Guild every year which I presume is a royalty check from a previous occupant who must have worked on one of those two films. We just mark it 'not at this address' and send it back.

Have a great weekend everybody! Crossing fingers the Saturday weigh-in will be a good one, I've been sneak peeking and it just might be.

QOTD- The Goonies was filmed in Astoria, as was Kindergarten Cop, Grimm was filmed all over the metro area, as was Leverage those are the only ones I can currently think of. I just re-watched Grimm and it was such a treat to see Portland on film. Unfortunately some of the businesses don't exist any more, but it is still fun.

Still trying to get all my accesses for work, so far there is at least one that I need that I can't get into.

I found out from PT that I need to lower my desk. It shouldn't be too bad, it's IKEA with legs that raise and lower but it won't be very easy. But if it keeps my arm from aching it will be worth it.

I didn't get many hours the last 2 weeks but I should have some.

Cloudy and overcast with a high of 72, and low of 53 so not bad weather.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning! It is FRI-YAY indeed and I am going to try and take 1/2 the day off so it should be a fast one. I hope you enjoy your vacation to the fullest.

QOTD: The Great Outdoors was filmed at Bass Lake which is about an hour away and where we camped at all the time when I was growing up.

I am having my usual breakfast but the rest of the day is up in the air since I don't know if I'll be still in the office. Exercise done and water and vits on track.

I hope each of you have a nice weekend.

I just looked up Silent Hill. It's based on Centralia Pennsylvania, but actually filmed in Toronto.
