Good morning, everybody!

Good score on the Corningwear, Jennifer!

By my count, this is the halfway point of winter. We are traveling to warmer points during parts of the first two weeks of March, so it's really just these four weeks of February (well, 3 1/2, I guess).

My ear is still ringing, but I think that my hearing is getting better, so hopefully I am on the mend. I did go to CrossFit last night and didn't seem to have any issues with balance, or anything like that.

We have been watching Lioness on Paramount Plus. It's a military drama starring Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman. We are through 1 1/2 seasons and have enjoyed it.

QOTD: I like to buy certain things, but nothing that rises to the level of a collection.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Meatball sandwich

Dinner: chili

Have a great day, all!

When I moved to my condo a few years back, I did a lot of downsizing and now do not collect anything. I still have some pieces of the Blue Cornflower Corning Ware that was a bridal shower gift in 19669. And I still use it a lot.

For while a while, I collected anything that was southwestern. I ended up selling a lot of that at garage sales. With no basement, no attic, and a small storage unit in the carport, I have to be so careful what comes into the house now and pretty much practice the rule of something going out when anything new comes in.

Good morning menu peeps. It is surprisingly warm this morning at 40 degrees. I spent two hours last night going through a big storage closet we have in the basement that is full of totes. I've been slowly posting stuff on marketplace and in one of my ads I had miscellaneous household stuff with a couple of pieces of the Cornflower corning ware from the 60's. Well of course someone asked if had any other pieces. Yes, yes, I do three totes full. LOL

My boss is out sick as is our purchasing person, so the office is pretty quiet today. I have a couple of month end reports to finish up and then I have to go out and get some gift cards for some employees who have upcoming employment anniversaries.

QOTD: Do any of you collect antiques or unique things? While my favorite things are old platters and Painted Ponies. I did back in 2001 end up with a large collection of the Corning Ware Blue Cornflower. I had intended to put them out in a wall cabinet that was supposed to be built but never was. So now I've decided to sell the pieces and I'm finding out that many of them are worth much more than I originally paid for them. So, we will see if I can make a little cash from them.

B: coffee and ham and eggs

L: jersey mike's Italian sub, but in a bowl

D: spinach stuffed pork loin

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good morning, everybody!

I went to Urgent Care to get my ringing ear checked out and they think that it is sinus related. So, I'm doing Flonase and taking Prednisone for a couple of days to try and clear it up.

It seems that there are a bunch of reasons why I don't want to be on Prednisone any longer than I have to be, so hopefully this clears up quickly.

Since the buildup is coming from inside my head and not from my ear canal, the doctor said I'm fine to keep swimming as long as the pressure doesn't make me uncomfortable. I think that I will take Wednesday off, most likely.

Yesterday morning, we reviewed the houses that Marilyn looked at in Florida. We liked one and are getting more information about it. We decided to Snowbird instead of move, though, so we are looking at smaller homes than we originally thought. That way we will still have our Chicago home if a storm floods it. Anyway, we still need more information.

QOTD: Does checking which accountants handled the voting count?

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: chili

Have a great day, all!

Good mornin y'all. Glad to hear your mom is home!

It was a long weekend for me as well. Capped off by a weird episode of throwing up after drinking some water. I got a low blood sugar then threw up what I had done to get it back up. It passed as mysteriously as it came on. So weird and uncomfortable.

Looks to be a somewhat easy going week ahead. No appointments that I can think of. Next one will be a busy one so I'll take a slow week anytime. My bday is next week too, hard to believe I'll be 44.

I am so very very tired this morning but I've got all the critters fed and given fresh water. I'm hoping to lay down a bit before I take a shower. We do have to get the kids after school. I think my mom is wanting something from Sam's.

QOTD: no, Grammys are probably the most pretentious thing to me as music is so subjective. I have never cared much for Beyoncé. I think she's a bit snooty. Talented as all get out but pretentious. I'm with you on the cowboy Carter stuff. I hated how she redid blackbird...one of my favorite Beatles songs. Not my cup of tea,

B: burrito and coffee

L: likely soup

D: ????

What I made this weekend and Ms.Tange too.

There was a time when I watched all the award shows, watched all the current movies, and knew the latest songs and performers. I have completely lost interest in those things now.

Cinnamon rolls sounds so good. Especially fresh from the oven. Irvin is lucky to have you to bake for him.
