Yes, Actually I use the Clear-lax from Sams club I think 3 big bottles runs around $25. I see no difference in the outcomes.

Good morning, everyone!

I had a great trip to Florida: did some fishing swam in the newly renovated pool, bought a bicycle (and took a few rides) went out for a lobster boil and actually got some work done. It went by way too fast.

The boil was lobster (Maine), snow crab, mussels, clams, shrimp, corn and potatoes. Washed it down with a Modelo for a great dinner.

The bad news? I left almost all of my medication in Florida. Over the next day or so, I have to figure out what to do about that. We are leaving for a cruise on Sunday, so going back down isn't really an option.

QOTD: I love stuff like that!

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: meatballs

Have a great day all!

Happy Monday Gang. It was nice to have a three-day weekend, and this is another short week for me going into my vacation week next week. The heatwave officially started yesterday. Thank God for central air. I was doing some gardening throughout the day with taking breaks in the cool house.

Friday we were not able to go strawberry picking because every place was closed for ripening, so I came up with a plan to go mini golfing instead. We had so much fun it was way better than picking strawberries.

QOTD: Who here likes things like mini golf, go-karts, etc.? I haven't been mini golfing or go-karting in years and I told Irvin I want us two to go since the place in less than 10 minutes from us. There is also a place in Somers, CT that has bummer boats, batting cages, mini-golf and all sorts of fun stuff.

B: coffee and1/2 cup cottage cheese with raspberries

L: garden salad

D: chicken loaf with fresh swiss chard

Have a great day everyone!!

The kids are 6 and 9. The cars are like an up scale type of go kart, but they go as fast as 50mph. They have special suits, helmets, and they are well secured in the vehicles.

Super late post from me.

it was a busy-ish day. I'm exhausted but can't sleep. Nothing new there.

We took a load to the thrift store. Had my PT appointment. We did some things around the house. Feeling kind of blah.

QOTD: I can't eat pasta or rice. I may get two fork/spoon fulls but then it's a huge no.

food was decent! Had only once slice of the supreme pizza my mom got.

How nice that you got to watch the grandkids race. They grow up too dang fast.

QOTD: Chew gum. The dr's head nurse led our support group back in the day and she harped on that one over and over. She said dr. has had to go back to too many of his patients for emergency surgery to remove stuck gum. I'm slightly suspicious of that but I still haven't had any gum in nearly 19 years.

PT went much better today and I can tell there is good progress being made so they gave me more homework to do. I was even able to kneel on a cushion on top of a padded table for around 4 minutes!

B- my usual choc. protein/collagen shake.

L-nothing

D-1 oz steak, 1 cup asparagus

That's only 322 calories and 56 g protein. Looks like I can afford some Ants on a Log for a snack tonight!

Have a wonderful weekend! We started a cooldown today and will stay around the 60's for a few days, I'm going to take advantage and get some carrots planted.

Chrissy, have you ever tried off-brand versions of Miralax? Dr. wants me to switch to that instead of Benefiber and supposedly she wrote a script for it but I highly doubt the military has it in it's formulary. They haven't provided bariatric vitamins for years, cheapskates. haha

Thank you for the link to the recipe, it sounds delicious. Enjoy your pup and the pool this weekend.

Gordon Ramsey is here making a Tv show at a restaurant in Cortland Ohio about 10 miles from me. I will be excited to eat there and watch his show. It used to have wonderful food but has gone downhill lately.

It was a beautiful summer day. My sister and her family are at Hilton Head SC and today they saw a shark close to the beach. Everyone had to leave beach. scary.

I hope to do a beach trip in August when kids go back to school and not so crowded.

Good morning, Jennifer and Menuers,

Was that another week that just blew buy? Only 14 days till the 4th of July. I cannot believe how fast life is going. I am officially not doing the 5K on the 4th. I was not motivated to train, and the last month of torrential down pouring rain did not help. The heat wave starts Sunday, and it looks like pool weather all weekend. I have gym booked both Saturday and Sunday. I will do Mom duty, and I am having a small picnic with friends tomorrow. I am making a Baked Italian Chicken Tthighs on Sunday I am excited about. I probably need to get my tomatoes steaked as well.

QOTD: What is one thing you know longer do only because you had bariatric surgery? Mine is Smoke. I smoked from 17 to the age of 52. I have not had once since. Sometimes I crave it, but I know the consequences and also the cost, so I am easily deterred.

Accountability: I ended up eating 3 tacos and Elote cup for dinner last night.

TSS: 7 years 6-months 9-days 168.6 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Premier Protein Root beer Float

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

L: Eggbites

D: grilled meatloaf (still sitting in the fridge maybe tonight)

Exercise: dog walking

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great weekend my friends.

Brightest Blessings

Chrissy
