Holy cow !

I take Buproprion ( forever) to exercise , breathe better and often just to function ( get several strengths prescribed ) also topiramate ( for anxiety supposedly ) and recently Naltrexone ( a true magic pill for stopping alcohol cravings I find) ......

Maybe its no wonder I maintain my new weight no prob ?

Wow, sounds like a rough start! I totally get the frustration--people driving like maniacs in bad weather is terrifying. I'm also super cautious when it rains or snows; better to arrive late than not at all.

Best views in NY - but there R drawbacks - pollution , no trees or parks ( South Bronx is essentially a wasteland oxygen and healthy food wise )

Please wish me luck tomorrow w signing lease.

QOTD- I usually do, but I'm not sure about this year. Still in too much pain.

I see the ortho today, not sure there is anything he can do. I quit the muscle relaxers since I felt that all they do is make me sleepy.

I bought another heating pad, so now I have one at my desk. I'm not sure if it helps but it's nice to have.

I got my sheets hung outside yesterday, and made it to Costco for gas. This is the first time I've driven since the fall, it seemed to go OK, I need to drive myself to the Dr this afternoon. My line drying days are at an end I'm afraid the rains are coming.

Have a great day everyone!

Oh I love it!

Good mornin y'all.

we are taking a donation of things I've made to the rescue that took in Momma. They're going to auction them off they said. I may not be able to donate money much but I can do that!

Other than that not much is happening today, I'm feeling mighty blah. I have no gumption. I still need to clean my closet but even the thought of it overwhelms me. Blah.

QOTD: yup...my mom goes all out.

B: eggs, cheese and coffee

L: soup

Happy Hump Day Gang!!! I don't want to jinx anything, but the outage is going really well. It's rainy and a bit cool this morning, but that's ok. I have to run out to the store later to get a bunch of lunch meat for our mid-outage meeting tomorrow. I told my PM that instead of getting pizza I thought the guys would appreciate making their own sandwiches and have some pasta salad and garden salad to go with it he agreed. I'll probably pick up some desserts also.

Mel I got the tapestry hung up finally in my office and everyone loves it. Four people have asked where I got it.

QOTD: Do you decorate for Halloween? Years ago when my daughter was as home I would put up all sorts of things, but I don't do that anymore. I do however decorate in the office and put out candy. I also put together little Halloween candy bags for the drivers to be given out on Halloween and they really appreciate it.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: pot roast and mashed potatoes

D: chicken salad stuff hot peppers

I have a yoga class tonight at the Y and I think Irvin is going to work with the weight trainer.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Finally managed the three day drive to NYC ( about 3 weeks ago honestly) . Have been hesitant to post - had a pretty bad experience last time and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Had to relocate here due to house emergency. Because I neglected her ( including the grounds ) for many months there is a threat of demolition ! ??

There are people in power who want to force a sale ( to their friends lol) immediately so they can buy her for pennies on the dollar ( the stick is the bulldozers can come as early as October 11th I kid U not ).

Of course I hired a land use attorney and am fighting back any way I can .

Living arrangements r dicey - the gov recently forced turn off of electricity n water ( despite my being a critical care patient ) so Im living by lantern, w no heat no refrigeration ( grrr) and no way to flush the toilet or shower ( or even make tea) .

But Im eating away at the overgrown vegetation day by day ( see the results ) cleaning the animal damage inside and hoping the sump pump / french drain system in the basement not working doesnt result in 8 feet of flooding lol.

Food wise I feel like a bag lady pretty much eating out of my car , throwing out perfectly good but spoiled food ( what a waste ! ? every day) .

But there may be good news ! I found a great apartment in NYC - praying I get accepted . Terriffic view and location - trying hard today to get the keys .

Weight is down a bit thanks to the constant landscaping exercise - breathing and sleep are good - food is not planned but tiny amounts of whatever I crave ( pouch is still minuscule ) - two bites here two bites twenty minutes later . Cant finish a sandwich or the meat off two chicken wings if that gives U an idea.

b- ff cottage cheese, scallions, fresh garlic bread slices

chai tea latte giant w sweetener

l- potato salad commercial

seafood salad commercial on part of roll

d- sheperds pie amped up w fresh peas butter buds

snack - part of chicken wing w peri peri sauce

late nite snack - small wonton soup

clearly not wasting away !

Well Ive TOTALLY forgotten how to post pics ...next time !

QOTD- My person is Patt my barn Mom. We get each other and I keep her from jumping off the cliff. And she listens to my endless rants.

It's no longer fall here, supposed to be 80 today, if I wasn't in so much pain I'd wash my sheets and hang them outside today.

I see the ortho tomorrow, I quit taking the gabapentin and baclofen, I didn't like the way it made me feel. So I've been white knuckling it and using the heating pad. I just ordered another one so I can have one in my office and another one downstairs.

My roommate got a job, but he has to go to CA for it, so his GF is using frequent flyer miles to get him there. He doesn't fit on a bus and the train takes too long. I just hope this one works out. FYI he is 6'6" tall and most of that is legs.

We don't need the National Guard here in Portland. There is nowhere in this city I would be afraid to go to. No it isn't burning and there are no murders every block.

Have a great day everyone!
