Good Morning Matt and Menuers,
Wow I am so tired. Christmas took everything out of me, and I feel like I should be in bed. But here I am at work. I can tell this will be a long day. . No rest for the weary right. I did have a wonderful holiday and the girls were wonderful. No screaming lots of hugs and kisses and they are getting used to Rudy. I'll post pictures tomorrow.
QOTD: I put to go containers out so that everyone takes what they want. I have a few pieces of prime rib left over and some shrimp. I am down to one very small container of cookies and one slice of cheesecake. I only did 1/4 ham in the crockpot, and I left it on too long, so it got very dry. I'll grind it for ham salad, or I will feed it to the dog. I do have to google about freezing mashed potatoes though. I made 20 potatoes worth, so I did go a little overboard.
Accountability: Not completely disappointed in myself but I need to cut back on the bourbon.

Happy Boxing Day! I'm planning on sitting on my arse as much as possible. I've already watched one bad Christmas movie. More to come.
Yesterday was very nice, but it was more than 24 hours of Christmas parties. My own personal savior is more into relaxing.
- QOTD: My personal best case scenario is to get through the higher calorie leftovers within a couple of days. We have a lot of desserts left, so those will be gone, one way or another, by the weekend. Ditto for mashed potatoes and corn. I've already frozen some prime rib, and I'll have the unfrozen stuff over the next few days as well.

Good morning all and Happy Thursday,
I hope everyone had a splendid Christmas. I went to my sister's for Hammukkah. We have 6lbs+ ham leftovers. It was a really nice holiday.
QOTD- How much of a challenge is it to eat holiday leftovers in moderation?
It seems there's always one dish that I must have as much as is remaining left over. Case in point- Matzoh Ball Soup, key lime individual pies.
B: leftover ham, mushrooms and eggs. Tangerine. Coffee.
L: Breadless BLT+Ham. Jicama
D: lamb, rosemary, lemon, garlic, American fried potatoes. Broccoli.

Happy Christmas and Hanukkah to all. I have a brief lull before the roast goes in. At 14 pounds, people think it's huge. But it's only 2 pounds heavier than my daughter when she was born.
We've had 2 Christmas parties yesterday, and one today. That's at least three Christmas parties too many. I'm taking tomorrow off.
I hope you have a wonderful day.

I don't know what I thought I'd be getting sleep and not have time to post! LOL
Merry Christmas everyone and the start Hanukkah tomorrow the 26th.
Christmas Eve went ok. We hit up Sam's super early and it wasn't busy at all. Walmart also wasn't too bad either. By the time we left the lot was nearly two thirds full. Was glad to get that done with. We mainly ent for jalapeños, more bacon and lil smokies. We decided to do bacon wrapped smokies. I am most excited for those and the poppers. I will be doing one with peanut butter. My mom likely wont try one. I told her she likes peanut sauce but she thinks it sounds revolting.
i got the orange brownies and brownies done, the meat and cheese cut up for the tray. We bought cookies and a very small pecan pie for my mom and brother. I am glad we are doing easier things and small things. My pouch has been very picky about the volume of food. So I can have a small amount and still enjoy the meal. Dessert for me will be the orange blonde brownies if I have room for a small piece.
sorry for blabbing. I've been a bit hyper for a few days now.
QOTD: have you ever put up more than one tree for Christmas?
our record is 6 in the house(more outside). It was the Christmas after my grandma and uncle had died. I think my mom did it as a distraction. They were beautiful trees that year.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Merry Christmas to you all! Enjoy the day in all the ways you wish. Thank you all for being here!
Happy holidays , and please send my best to QJB.

Happy holidays to all. Special thanks to everyone for the support and accountability. Having a place to share struggles really helps keep my head in a better place. I wish you all joy and happiness.
QOTD: I once had a professor hand out blue books for an exam, and write the tests only question on the board. It said "What else do you know?" We had 50 minutes -- Go! So, I request -- ask and answer your own holiday question.
Merry and happy, y'all!

Good morning, Chrissy & team:
Today is the last day in the office for 2024. I am driving DD to the airport tonight, so we are both working in the Chicago office today.
We had a great weekend, CrossFit holiday party on Friday night, football on Saturday, dinner with DD last night. And we got out to see the Taylor Swift decorated house on Sunday afternoon.
I have some work to do, but did bring a book in case I need it while waiting to drive DD to the airport this evening. I went to morning gym class so tonight should be quiet.
QOTD: being able to join in fun things like reindeer runs.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: steak salad
Dinner: leftover tenderloin from yesterday.
Have a great day, all!
