When my father made lunch it was usually what he called Spanish Hot Dogs. It was a pan of tomato sauce with hot dogs cut up in it. It might have had onions too. We loved it but I never made it myself.

Good Morning! As expected yesterday was a chaotic but we got it all done. Today is the follow up day from everything that went out yesterday and working with my team to make sure everything gets posted then we move on to the next round.

QOTD: I haven't had it since I moved out from home but goulash (sp?) there are a few others but that came to mind first.

Menu during the day will be typical and then dinner plan is soy chorizo with eggbeaters on zero net carb tortillas. Exercise is done and water and vits on track.

Do 1 random act of kindness today, it'll have a boomerang effect.

It's been many years since I've had it. But we ate it all the time as kids.

Good mornin y'all.

well my myelogram was approved! Now I'm hoping to hear the good news about the CT scan today. My shoulder got aggravated by something, who knows what, and hurts really a lot worse. It's annoying me greatly. I am taking a few days off chainmaille. Going to take it somewhat easy all together. I hope. Tend to be a little stubborn so we'll see. I hate asking others to help me. It's a big flaw of mine.

Food has been a little iffy the past few days. Not horrible but about 400 calories more than my goal. Need to stop the peacing around.

QOTD: I cooked from an early age. One of my favorite things is scrambled eggs with pickle juice and a bit of mustard. It's so good. I still eat it occasionally

B: egg, protein bar & coffee

L: chimichanga

D: prob some kind of chicken, it's grocery shopping day so we'll see.

oldies I reworked a bit this morning.

That's one thing I could never do was scrambled eggs with ketchup and I know a lot of people who like that. I'm really not a fan of ketchup.

Good morning, everybody!

It's beautiful here in Chicago, as well. Marilyn made it to Florida last night. She has kind of a whirlwind two weeks - Saturday, her and my youngest drove from Chicago to Alabama, to move him out of his apartment, later this week. Then, Marilyn kept on going, down to Florida to drop off one of her cars at our house. Tomorrow, she is flying back to Alabama and on Thursday she and my youngest are bringing his car back to Chicago. Friday morning she is flying back down to Florida with me and staying for a week to take a break and have some work done on the house.

After all of that is done, she is staying put until we leave for Portugal in September.

The pool last night was absolute mayhem . Two and three people in lanes. I had two collisions in 200 meters and called it a night. Today is WFH, so I will try again at lunchtime. I have a sprint Triathlon August 3rd, but the swim part of that is pretty short.

My son is making dinner tonight. He is a pretty good cook, so I am looking forward to it.

QOTD: Funny that you said scrambled eggs, because the first thing that popped into my head was scrambled eggs with Ketchup.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Italian sandwich

Dinner: pasta

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Gang. What a beautiful morning it is. The weather is perfect. Back in the scale house for another two days. Apparently my plant manager thought the scale attendant was supposed to be back from FMLA yesterday. I'm not sure why he thought that since the schedule has her out until August 7th.

We got the rabbits all set up outside and have their breeding area setup also. Made a quick trip to the Y last night just did the machines, but it was something. The little goats are doing great Irvin has named the little girl Hoppy since that's all she does is hop around and the little boy Pogo. Hoppy comes running over and paws you to be petted and Pogo wants to be held to sleep in your arms. They are crazy little critters that's for sure.

QOTD: What's an unusual dish you had a kid that you might or might not eat as an adult? My mom would make a bunch of different things to feed 5 kids, but the one thing that stood out the most was scrambled eggs mixed with creamed corn and fried spam. I know sounds rather gross, but it was pretty good and every once in a while I still make it.

B: coffee and scrambled eggs that Irvin made me because I was running late.

L: ham and cheddar wrap

D: pork chops on the grill with steamed kale

Will be hitting the Y again tonight. Really getting the most out of the membership. :)

Have a great day everyone!!!

Your kids, human and goat`, are adorable. Glad you had a great weekend. I like pineapple, orange, cranberry, or tomato juices. I buy them jn single serving cans or bottles because I would never use up a large container. I do think tomato is my favorite. Anything with tomato is good to me,.

Good Morning! What a great way to start the week with pics of baby goats. We had a decent weekend, it's been stressful for John since he works in public media so even though it was his birthday yesterday he was having to check emails and stay on top of things and postpone his vacation time until end of this week. We did do what we could to celebrate his birthday a bit. Today is payroll distribution day and as always, I am waiting for data I need to proceed.

QOTD: I don't do much juice but pick fruit when I do.

Menu- Unknown for lunch since the bank is providing lunch but I may save my meal (tri tip cobb salad) for dinner so I can actually eat it rather than rush like I will most likely have to do during the actual lunch time today since payroll won't have gone out yet. Breakfast is typical and exercise was completed this morning. Vits/Water are on track.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great start to the week.
