Good morning, everybody!

I had a good weekend, got most of what I wanted to do accomplished. There are always one or two things that slide into the next week though.

I told my son never to buy a discount tool that could injure you if it breaks. But I got a great deal on this wooden tool chest at Harbor Freight. I'm going to use it to store my fly tying materials . It was only $84, eight felt lined drawers, locking, and a perfect size.

I'm going to Florida on Friday, so this is a 4 day week.

QOTD: I prefer tomato juice. I was drinking some orange when I was sick. Generally, I only have juice at restaurants or hotels.

Breakfast: pastry

Lunch: catered

Dinner: chicken vesuvio

Have a great day, all!

More baby goats!

Good morning y'all!

my weekend was ok. My mom had another melt melt down it it is what it is. I went into my room early and tuned it out.

We have the kids today. It's going to be a scorcher today with humidity. Yay. I'm hoping to hear about the CT scans! I'm in a pretty good mood but the pain is bad. I helped do the weed eater yesterday and I'm paying dearly. The stuff needs to be done and it's just us two in a big house and yard. I cleaned the bathroom well.

QOTD: I'm lucky that I've never liked fruit juice. If I had to pick it'd be veggie. I really don't care much for it either. V-8 spicy I can drink easier.

B: half a breakfast sandwich and half a donut

L: other half a donut and an egg

D: unknown

Good Monday Morning Gang!! The start of another week and the weather is perfect. I got out at 12:30 on Friday and went home to help Irvin clean out the goat barn and lay down fresh straw. He had me run the Bobcat and I did a pretty good job of it. Thistle is a great mom and the babes are growing like crazy. They are like little jumping beans. We haven't figured out names yet and I know we won't be keeping the little boy.

Irvin went Saturday morning to the race track with Mia and Mason. They did a great job and then they all stopped by the house to see the goats. They helped me pick the garlic and collect eggs. Grandkids are great. We even made sure to get to the Y over the weekend it was almost like relaxing time going there.

QOTD: Fruit juice or vegetable juice which do you prefer? Once in a great while I do enjoy a nice glass of orange juice, but I much prefer V-8 or fresh juiced vegetables. I have a 1/2 gallon of beet juice in the fridge with a bunch of fresh herbs and spices mixed in.

B: coffee and squash and eggs

L: chef salad

D: Jalapeno peppers stuffed with chicken salad

Have a great day everyone!!

Congrats! Onederland is fantastic!

the clothing thing bugs me! I've gotten two different sizes marked the same size. Don't get me started on sizes across brands LOL

Thank you! They are our babies!

my mom had another melt down last night but it's going to be what it is. After she had a mini stroke it's changed her. Most of it isn't her fault. I have to remember that.

Gorgeous photos from your trip, thank you for sharing them! And there's no way I could do what you did. Kudo's on winning their Wheel of Fortune, it sounds like a nerve wracking experience.

Ooh that pendant is so beautiful, I'm sure whoever ordered it is going to be very pleased. And thank you for the pics of your fur babies...I could just boop them through the screen.

It's a shame your mom isn't more supportive and interested in your health. It's hard for me to understand as my mom was always very interested however in her last years she'd run everything she'd gotten out of my past my sister who is a CNA and knows more than most doctors. She'd tell Mom I was just being overdramatic so that's as far as the concern went, lol. I'm glad you have this place to vent safely. You don't need to apologize at all. Hugs and I'm crossing fingers that all those diagnostics go well and as painlessly as possible.

Your baby goats are so cute and I bet when they get to that springy age they'll be so fun to watch. Congratulations! I'll have to read other replies to see what you have named them. Hope you've had a great first weekend with the babies.

QOTD: Neither. If I had the land, money and time I'd raise mini Jerseys and polled Dexters. Good dispositions, a smaller amount of meat and good milk productions. Although, I don't think I'd turn down Valais Blacknose sheep...their babies prance so stinkin' cute!

Lately my meals are pretty much the same thing: breakfast is that protein/collagen shake with lots of ice, I'm usually not hungry for lunch or dinner but make myself eat around 6 or 7 and in these early days I'm still avoiding any processed carbs or potatoes and rice. So dinner is just as much protein as possible without costing me too much on carbs. Dr. said she wants me sticking to 20-30 grams per day. When my knee allows more exercise I'll add more carbs and fats to fuel that. For each day I usually eat around 500 calories but allow myself up to 1000 so it doesn't feel like a punishment.

Finally hit two big markers this weekend and right at the 9-week mark in my generic Contrave journey: 1- I made it to Onederland finally and 2- I hit the 30# loss mark. It doesn't feel like it though in my jeans. The 18's are still super baggy but I can hardly zip up my 16's of the same brand. And personally, I'm sure those are vanity sizes.

No gallbladder. Surgeon removes them routinely since he said it ends up being removed around a year later anyway.

And yes, greasy food doesn't sit well at all!

Thanks for the carefully thought-out response.
