Good mornin y'all.

Two appointments today, thankfully they are close to each other. Pain clinic and my case manager. I need to talk to the later about the peer support person ghosting me. Not looking forward to that. The pain clinic is always the same ol same ol thing. We also will be going to Walmart for a few things for tomorrow. So pretty long day

i'm feeling pretty rough after yesterdays PT. The physical therapist sent me home with a TENS unit. He's really great.

QOTD. Sky watching. Storms, clouds, sun sets/rises. Stars. You name it I enjoy just taking it in.

B: jimmy dean delights cauliflower sandwich and coffee

L: prob a chicken crap from BK

D: I have no idea at this point. Maybe a fish fillet or something along those lines.

Happy Hump Day Gang. It was a rainy muggy day yesterday, but it went well. Today started off the same way hopefully after a quick storm the sun comes out. Tomorrow night is the grandkids first trial race of the NASCAR midget cars in Thompson and Irvin is so excited. This is another short week for me as I took Friday off.

QOTD: What outdoor activity do you enjoy most? I actually like hiking not that I do it often, but I enjoy going through the woods and finding unusual landmark or structures.

B: coffee and 2 egg bits

L: salad with 1/2 cup cottage cheese

D: pork chop and kale with red onion and blue cheese

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hi, nice to see you all again. Father's day was nice and quiet. Hubs was out helping a friend so I did as much in the garden as I could. Monday he and our son went out for guy stuff and it was another nice quiet day. Worked hard in the garden, overdid it a bit. Had to head to Costco today for protein powder, it was great going so early with little crowds and for the first hour I wasn't even limping. That is amazing progress from the PT and weight loss. Finished the month with 17# loss. Today is the telephone appt. with my dr and hope it goes well.

QOTD: I help Hubby whenever he'll allow or requests it but it is usually a very stressful situation. Daughter is a fire wife so she frequently needs help with babysitting, that's a win/win for both of us. Grandbaby time does me so much good. Chatting with Son last evening he let slip he isn't cooking much because bills are pretty high so I dragged him to MollyMart (aka my canning room) and made him take some jars of meats and veggies. He hates to ask for help.

I've hit the interesting point with these meds where I'm actually tired of having to eat. If it wouldn't mess up my 'regularity' I'd be perfectly happy with a couple of protein shakes a day but that isn't healthy long-term.

B: canned shake 'Nurri' brand in chocolate. Same stats as Fairlife but tastes like you are dieting. Costco didn't have any Fairlife this time, bummer.

L: nothing

D: mixed spring greens, 8 cherry tomatoes, 3 oz rotisserie chicken, 2 T lite Ranch dressing, 3 slices of a small avocado

LS: 2 T chia seeds in water

Enjoy the rest of your day! After talking to the dr. I'm heading back to the garden.

Good Afternoon! The week is moving right along and pretty quickly. I have some year-end (yes for 2024) that I am working with the CPA on and normal payroll activites. Just trucking right along.

QOTD: I have a small family and yes we try and do whatever we can.

Standard menu for the day and dinner I think I will finish the soy chorizo. Water/Vits and exercise-check-check and check

Have a great day!

QOTD- I wish my roommate would help more. He says he will do something and never gets around to it.

I'm trying to do my PT for my wrist but I gotta say it hurts and sometimes I just don't want to do it. But I also don't want to lose functionality in my hand and wrist.

I started back to work yesterday and of course they have no work. I finally got some money from Paid Leave Oregon. I don't have an accounting of it but I believe that they paid me for six weeks, so I'm no longer broke. That is good, but if I don't have any work I don't have anything to charge my time to, so I don't get paid. I just asked my boss for work, so maybe I'll get some. It seems to be feast or famine. I hate being overwhelmed but I also hate not having any work. I will survive.

My roommate is unemployed so no help, and he still hasn't done the drip mist system. He did buy the tomato cages but I will need his help to put them on the plants.

Another beautiful day, high of 78 and clear and sunny. But there is supposed to be rain tomorrow. I hope it happens so I won't have to water the plants.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, everyone!

I wonder if QJB is on top of this Karen Read murder trial? I haven't really been following it, but my brother in law is following it closely and has been texting us information about the case. It seems like something from a movie.

Marilyn and my youngest are heading to Florida this morning. I dropped them at the airport and made it into the office by 7:30. I am heading down tomorrow evening and will stay through Sunday. I have a few errands to do down there but, mostly going to relax and enjoy the refurbished pool.

We have a crockpot full of chili, so I can have that for dinner tonight. Otherwise, CrossFit tonight. I don't need to pack very much because I have clothes, toiletries and vitamins in Florida. Mostly just meds and electronics.

QOTD: for immediate family, definitely yes. Most of our extended family is a plane ride away though.

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: stuffed shells

Dinner: chili

Have a great day, all!

QOTD: My sister said her husband came home and complained about his neck really hurting bad. I asked her what she did. She said she was watching her shows and did not want to be bothered by his neck so she ignored him and went back to her TV. If it was me, I would have gotten the heating pad, some Biofreeze, and given him a massage. Difference in people. I am always looking for a way to help and help my family and friends whenever I can,.

Good mornin y'all.

very sore today. I'm deep in pain fatigue. I'm really really tired of it.

Yesterday though was great! My mom was gone until 3 with a lunch break. It's nice every once in a while to have a day to yourself. I got a lot done. Worked out my necklace idea. Will post a pic below.

we're headed to the lake Thursday. Not overly excited about it as I can't get in the water to much due to my CGM. Plus I really don't feel like it.

QOTD: I do a lot for my mom around the house. So I do. She helps me some with that stuff but not a lot. When the kids are over I usually do the food and stuff for them. She takes care of the yard and trash.

B: not a proud moment...apple fritter and coffee

L: gonna be something light. Thinking a PP shake.

D: not sure. Probably chicken and some veggie.

Opal and the necklace. I might add another lace at the top but I'm not sold on that idea.

Good Tuesday Morning Everyone! I'm out in the scale house on this rainy day, but it's not that bad. Funny some of the drivers are happy to see me. I got in for 6:30 to make sure I got my office stuff done before I came out here for 7 and I told them I would work out here until 4. I didn't realize until yesterday that we were taking one of the boilers down for a quick repair to the ID fan. Hopefully all goes well as our purchasing person is working from home and if they need anything well I'm the back up to purchase stuff and my hands are kind a tied with me being in the scale. HA HA.

I helped Irvin put the top part of the exhaust on his dually since he was having a hard doing it himself and after two hours got frustrated. So when I got home, I told him I would help him. It took us 15 minutes and he was so happy. Definitely a two-person job.

QOTD: Do you help your spouse or family members with stuff they are struggling with? We usually help each other out with things and it always makes it easier.

B: coffee and egg wrap

L: salad with tuna

D: chicken burgers

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a wonderful day!!!
