Good morning, everybody!

Last night I woke up with a sharp pain about an hour after I fell asleep. I think I was grinding my broken tooth, and even with the guard on, it really hurt. I've made it twelve days and only have five more until I get it removed. I'm really hoping that the broken part stays in until the whole thing is pulled.

Today, I'm in the office. It feels like a Friday, but I have to work tomorrow, so I'm just dreaming. We are going to see Rod Stewart tomorrow night and then Saturday is our dinner party. It should be a fun weekend.

QOTD: As I have posted, Marilyn loves tennis, but I don't play, so I have to say golf. I've kind of fallen in and out of love with golf over my life. Right now, I'm out and enjoy more active sports.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: pasta

Have a great day, all!

Good morning all and Happy Friday Junior,

It's looking like it's going be a full, productive, exhausting complete day by the time I get to take a breath at 7:00 p.m. I'm having a new assistant start today and I'm hopeful that they're going to be able to help greatly. I'm way behind the eight ball with new host stuff and unpacking. However, there is really no rush since it's on my own timeline.

Thanks for understanding Lady Godiva about starting the daily post. You do a great job and think you for carrying the torch. I know it's not easy and it's also time consuming. Starting a daily thread isn't's going to happen often but it will help me with my accountability. I really, really appreciate you taking the reigns and steering this ship. Please let me know if I am stepping on your toes at all or if anyone objects.

QOTD- Golf. I'm horrible but would like to play again, after my shoulder surgery.

B: Coffee. Breakfast was cut short by a friend in immediate need.

L: PP shake.

D: A bite out - maybe something greasy.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Good mornin y'all!

Yesterday was a scorcher. 102°. Today they are saying 103°. More oh joy lol

today we might go to Sam's. Hopefully before it gets to the top of the temps. We might just stay home. My cousin who broke her arm needs help with taking a shower(she is 83 and the break makes it hard to get in her stand alone bath tub). She also needs a ride to her doctors appointment with the orthopedic surgeon. They don't know for sure if they'll do surgery. We'll find out today. Her kids aren't being there as much as they wish they could. They both work.

i'll be staying home and maybe I'll wash some clothes and vacuum my bedroom. I may chill out too. Food ended up crazy as heck yesterday. We went to Whataburger. My lunch was almost 900 calories! I paid for it too. I'll never learn. I've decided no more eating out for me but maybe once a month and then it'll be something I can still eat without a guilt trip. I counted all the calories yesterday and it ended up around 2500. Could've been worse but bad enough. Funny enough I was down 2 pounds. Go figure.

QOTD: tennis, without a doubt. I took recreational tennis in HS instead of PE and I loved it. I have a sour spot for golf but that's not important.

B: egg, cheese, pita and coffee

L: probably a protein bar or protein pancakes

D: I'm thinking chicken with some green beans

Happy Friday Eve Gang. I worked my butt off yesterday sanding and painting the radiation detector arm device. Note to self never use Rustoleum paint for personal use. That stuff sucks or the roller they gave me was not the right one. It looks like there are little hairs coming out of the paint, but I have a fine grit sandpaper that I will go over it with to knock it done. Not much else going on at work today as far as I know.

Mkess you're more than welcome to start to the thread if you're up earlier and it hasn't been started yet. I'm just trying to keep it going M-F as I know some of us like the accountability. Sometimes I can get it going earlier, but it depends on what is going in the morning as to how quickly I can get the thread started. :)

QOTD: Would you rather play tennis or golf? I've played tennis just for fun and only golf was mini golf, but having to choose I would pick tennis even though my knees wouldn't be too happy about the darting around the court. LOL

B: tea and ham and cheese omelet

L: roast beef and cheddar wrap with horseradish sauce

D: grilled monk fish with roasted sweet potatoes

Weight machines and swimming at the Y.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

I had a colonoscopy in June. They had me take miralax and dulcolax. I've never felt as sick for prep. It was my 4th one. I preferred the golygtly stuff by far. Good luck with all of it!

safe travels!

Thanks! In a way I'm glad the results show what I've been feeling. They treat me like I'm crazy or overreacting. BUT I wish none of it was there. Weird feelings for sure.

Hi Posters and Lurkers (come and post, we don't bite!) Glorious day here for August: overcast with sprinkles and I don't think it got above 70. A real treat, we usually are in the upper 90's with drought conditions and gusty winds that spread fires set by __ (I'm minding my language). The gastro's nurse called for pre-procedure questions, nice to have that done. Chill that GoLytely, baby! Getting prepped for the trip next week, Hubs wants to do it in one day three hours each way and I have to be at the church early to bring the family chalice and paten for the service.

QOTD: Have to say neither but both would be fun. After losing weight with the VBG I was hurrying, slipped on ice, zoomed off the sidewalk and landed under a car face up with a broken tailbone. It was actually pretty funny but I've been hyper-aware of putting my bum in any danger ever since. haha.

Tough love today:

B: 2 cups coffee and 2 tablespoons sf coffee creamer

L: My protein/collagen shake.

D: nothing

LS: 5 green beans and 5 slices of zucchini

Water, water, water, water!

Yup not enough protein etc. but I wanted to see if I could do this today. So far so good!

Going to try a link...this is really old but I watch it every couple of years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmKnf7QhuSo

So sorry your test showed further damage. Hope by the end of the day the pain was lessened. You and your mom are so kind to help your first cousin twice removed (used to know that stuff by heart, now I must Google) while she's recuperating. My MIL had one of those breaks-her nurses didn'****ch her and she tried to get up from her wheelchair. A few months she did it again and broke the same bone down by the elbow.

Hope you feel better soon and don't have to wait too long to see your NP.

Good Afteroon! I was MIA while we got payroll ready and out! Now it's getting ready to close the month which then means we start all over again-lol!

QOTD: Some of you may have read this before, I was a competitive amateur roller skater from first through third grade. Lots of travel and it was fun for my sister and I.

My Menu is standard for during the day and for dinner I think I am going to have chicken and green beans. Exercise done, vits and water on track so far.

I hope you all have been doing well.

QOTD- When I was younger I lived on my roller skates. I did used to go ice skating but have weak ankles so it was always a struggle. Honestly the only reason I went was for the boys.

It's raining today so no need to water the plants. My work computer was acting up yesterday, I use the same monitors for both computers and have a switch, which wasn't working. I had a black screen, I have a backup switch but do you think I could find it? After searching through the closet and drawers I finally found it on the monitor stand, if I had just looked down I wouldn't have had to rummage through the closets.

My neighbors put a bunch of stuff out for free, they went through their attic and were trying to find homes for everything. I brought nothing home. They had a nice oak table with a leaf, but it's way too big for my house.

My roommates girlfriend asked him to move in, I'm secretly cheering. I would love to have him move in with her.

Have a great day everyone!
