That seems really high to me for cleaning but then again, I haven't had anything done indoors since a tricky appliance installation last year so current prices are eye-opening. When my shoulders went bad I purchased a microfiber mop for cleaning walls, made it so much easier. Taking it one room at a time sounds doable.
Thanks for listing that coffee creamer...I've never heard of it before but will definitely go looking for it now.

Congratulations on getting your A1C down, great work!!! So sorry that yard work hurt your shoulder, that is certainly annoying pain. You did great at Wendy's too. It's been so many years since paying attention to my diet that the prospect of going out for a birthday lunch w/friends has me worried what in the world to eat. I remember those early postop months when it seemed there wasn't anything that was within plan. And my feet hurt just thinking of you dropping a whole brisket on your foot. I'm a klutz and broke bones in my feet at work. I'm sorry you have a weather forecaster now.
Your furbaby is a doll!

Good morning everybody, hope you are having a nice day. I have a hard enough time trying to clip my cat's nails and her squirming and wanting to bite...I can't even imagine the strength it would take to shear sheep! I'm seriously impressed.
QOTD: Instead of using the ladder on my step-cart in the warehouse to retrieve a Craftsman heavy-duty circular saw I just reached up for it (over my head by around 2') and my hands were dusty. Couldn't grip it and it fell and popped me right in the nose. I was embarrassed and didn't go get checked out but it turns out it broke the bone about 3/4" down from my tear duct and ever since I've had trouble breathing on that side. Trying my best to get my ENT to operate on it but he says it would cause me more problems to fix it than to leave it alone. It's a real fear to end up in a nursing home unable to communicate and dying of suffocation (other sinus problems too). From that day forward, I wore grippy gloves at work!
Today needs to be leftovers day but I've already messed up breakfast, sigh.
B: SF Almond milk collagen latte
L: Some leftover Egg Beaters and zucchini
D: The other half of an Amylu chicken patty and 1/2 cup carrots.
LS: probably a Fairlife chocolate protein shake to get my protein up.
Saturday I stepped up to the full dose of Contrave and wowie, did I become the living dead! It made me stumbly and fuzzy headed. Drunk without the fun. The brain fog eased off late in the day. Each day it seems the drunk phase is shorter but I am still weak and stumbly. Being patient here, it is going to pass in a few weeks and if having the food noise shut off helps me to lose weight and ease knee pain then it's worth it.

I pay $15 an hour for cleaning lady. She is on her own and does a great job. When you call in a company they do seem to charge a lot. I believe Molly Maids here is over $100 an hour now. Ask around and see if someone knows a good cleaning person. I have a window guy who does the glass, screen, and window frame for $20 a window and they look great when he is done.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I believe it is only a matter of time until medication replaces weight loss surgeries. I had RNY in 2007 and have had my ups and downs with weight gain and loss. Use whatever helps you. My brother went from close to 300 pounds down to 160 on the new medications. A friend started at over 200 and is now 140. Both have been on the medications for about two years.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good morning, everyone!
We had a great weekend fishing up in Wisconsin, we definitely want to go back. My son did most of the driving, which I greatly appreciated. We didn't find any great restaurants: Friday night was clearly microwaved and Saturday was cooked but, no doubt came out of a restaurant supply truck. I did like the atmosphere at the Saturday restaurant.
I start my outdoor swim class this afternoon. It is still pretty chilly, so I will bring my wetsuit.
QOTD: I pedaled forward instead of backward**** my garage door and launched my face through the garage door window. I was about 7. Walked into the house with my face covered in blood and almost gave my mother a heart attack.
breakfast: bagel
lunch: catered
dinner: prosciutto, mozzarella, pesto sandwiches
Have a great day, all!

Chrissy thanks for doing this. I was so preoccupied with what I was doing on my Friday off I forgot to get back in the house to start the thread.
QOTD: I wish I could handle stress eating better. Some days I do really well and then others I just crash and burn. Then I get mad at myself for eating junk and letting the stress getting the better of me.
If insurance will pay for a good amount of it I say go for it. There are many people who have had WLS and these shots have helped them with regain or just helped them finish getting to their goal weight.

No judgement from me. I am on mounjaro. It has helped me immensely. I've lost 15 pounds or so in nearly 3 months. I am on the mid dosage.
i am also battling regain of about 7t pounds. I have heard a lot of good things about zepbound, I saw on the menu post you go to a pain management clinic, I do too. I can't be as active as I'd like so the glong-1 has helped me so so much!
Good Morning Jennifer and Menuers,
Weekend was relaxing. I really had nothing but the regular gym and mom duty. I should have started cleaning windows, but I didn't. Temps never went about 65° so no pool time. I did a lot of mindless eating out of boredom. I really need to do better. I had a company come in and give me a quote on cleaning all my windows and walls. They wanted $1200 dollars. Even at $30 and hour I would not expect it to take more than 10 hours. I thought somewhere between $300 and $500. I'll start and do it myself a little at a time. Does anyone else think it was very high for a cleaning service? 3 bedrooms 3 bathroom living room dining room kitchen entryway 2 hallways and stairwells.
