If insurance will pay for a good amount of it I say go for it. There are many people who have had WLS and these shots have helped them with regain or just helped them finish getting to their goal weight.

No judgement from me. I am on mounjaro. It has helped me immensely. I've lost 15 pounds or so in nearly 3 months. I am on the mid dosage.

i am also battling regain of about 7t pounds. I have heard a lot of good things about zepbound, I saw on the menu post you go to a pain management clinic, I do too. I can't be as active as I'd like so the glong-1 has helped me so so much!

Good Morning Jennifer and Menuers,

Weekend was relaxing. I really had nothing but the regular gym and mom duty. I should have started cleaning windows, but I didn't. Temps never went about 65° so no pool time. I did a lot of mindless eating out of boredom. I really need to do better. I had a company come in and give me a quote on cleaning all my windows and walls. They wanted $1200 dollars. Even at $30 and hour I would not expect it to take more than 10 hours. I thought somewhere between $300 and $500. I'll start and do it myself a little at a time. Does anyone else think it was very high for a cleaning service? 3 bedrooms 3 bathroom living room dining room kitchen entryway 2 hallways and stairwells.

QOTD: Fell off a float in the Saint Patrick's Day parade and ended up 6 months later having back surgery.

Accountability: way too many desserts and carbs.

TSS: 7 years 5-months 22-days 168.2 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Premier Protein and watermelon

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

L: Premier Protein Cafe Latte and watermelon

D: egg roll in a bowl

Exercise: dog walking maybe elliptical or walk outside

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great week my friends.

Brightest Blessings

Good mornin y'all.

was a somewhat productive weekend. I got most of my room finished and only have the north wall stuff to organize and go through. I did go way off plan yesterday when we went to Wendy's. I ended the day with 2300ish calories so I could've done way worse! I only ate half a small fry. A chicken sandwich without sauce and a cold brew coffee that I doctored up myself. Not viewing it as a loss. I counted it and stayed accountable. Before I'd just not log the rest of the day.

today I am feeling like I can't get enough to eat. Ugh. Hate that. More great news though my A1c went way down to 5.9! Woot! I am super proud of myself and will toot my own horn! The CGM and mounjaro is definitely helping with it. My mom is out mowing and I used the weed eater to do a few spots and it is killing my shoulder. I just think I need to help out more. I do a lot of the house stuff but not outside. She won't let me mow or even use the weed eater for more than 10 minutes.

QOTD: I once was getting a whole frozen brisket out of the freezer. Proceeded to drop it on my left foot breaking it. Nothing to could be done to help it as even a boot wouldn't have helped it heal any better. So it hurt for 4 or so weeks. When the weather changes it hurts. It's my weather forecaster LOL

B: egg burrito, coffee and two caramel rice cakes

L: I'm probly going to do some chicken breast and cheese

D: unknown at this time.

So, my doctor, pcp, has recommended me going on Zepbound, to "help the weight loss" alone. Ive lost 42 pounds over the last 2 had a half years, no medication, just the bypass I had done in 2007. When I had the RNY, I lost 194 pounds. And, along the years, I let old habits slip back in. I regained 117 pounds. What's your thoughts on the shot? Please, no judgement,
It's a great day to be alive.

No sheep here to shear, thank the Lord. That is one hot and dirty job. I'm not sure what the dumbest way I've hurt myself is. There is so many, since I'm a Klutz. LOL The only thing I've got on my "menu" for the day is to take my parents a Deseret (low carb) I made last night. Since my daddy and husband are diabetic, I broke out my Betty Crocker Diabetic Cookbook. I've gotta call the pain management doctor and make sure they sent the right order in for a mri on my back and hips.

B: coffee, 2 eggs, 1 piece of keto friendly bread

L: pork steak diced on top of salad

D: Left over pork tenderloin, white acre peas, green beans sliced tomato

2 miles on recumbent bike. May add in free weights

It's a great day to be alive.

My son was in 5th grade and his teacher had a little justice gravel on his desk. My son thought it would be funny to pick up the gravel and hit himself in the head with it. It was not funny and really hurt him when he did it. Some kids have to learn the hard way.

Shearing sheep is a lot more work than it looks like when you see it on YouTube. I guess they don't like to get sheared. I know the groomer said my cat really fought her when she groomed him. And he weighs nine pounds so a sheep would be really a challenge to hold down. Good work getting it done.

I am sure your inspection will go well and be over with for a while. It is beautiful day here. Sunny and will be in the 70's. Real springtime day. I plan to enjoy it.

Good Monday Morning Gang. Sorry I didn't get on Friday I ended up outside at 6am doing things and forgot to go back inside to start the thread. Thank you, Teenie, for doing it. I had a great long weekend of getting a bunch more stuff done. Yesterday I went to my mom's and helped with the shearing of her two sheep and can I say holy hell those little suckers are strong. I was holding the first one by they back feet and it went well, then somehow I ended up holding the second one by the horns and my sister Missy had the back feet will Amelia sheared her. I'm not sure what my sister did, but we were almost done and she let up on the back legs and Peppa realized it and jumped up. Only I had a death grip on her head so only her backend went up. Amelia said she had the halter and I could let go. I ended up having to hold her by the horns and lean into her so she couldn't move and Amelia finished shearing her back. Fun times not.

Today at work we have to finish up getting ready for our OSHA VPP certification. The plant looks pretty darn good.

QOTD: What's the dumbest way you've hurt yourself? I have so many ways that I've hurt myself, but the dumbest was in 6th grade when we had a field day and we were flying kites. I somehow twisted myself while running and pulled my back muscles. I couldn't walk without extreme pain for almost 3 weeks.

B: coffee and 2 eggs over easy

L: salad with chopped chicken

D: homemade sausage patty on the grill

30 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the vibration platform

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hi Chrissy and Co. Yay for it being Friday and the end of our huge celebrations month. Every family has one where you pack in a holiday or two plus multiple birthdays, wedding and death anniversaries, right? Just one more family event tomorrow. Can't believe how huge that dessert was for your mom, glad they boxed the leftovers for her to take home. Your eggroll in a bowl is inspiring, I bought ground turkey to make some PF Changs lettuce wraps and think I'll make it more like yours looks. Your peonies are glorious, you have a green thumb. The only time I've ever grown them it was a nursery mixup and they ended up being Japanese peonies so after a few years I shovel pruned them. I'll try to come back on my phone to edit this and add some pics, wish me luck. I'm not tech savvy.

QOTD-I'm working on getting back to no liquid with meals, no exceptions. The gateway dr*g for me was coffee with my breakfast.

Wanted to get out of the house and do some shopping for more diet-supportive foods. It took three hours of painfully slow walking to do Costco, my favorite thrift store for more tiny dishes and a local grocer with good sales. That has to count for exercise since I can't do anything else but stationary band work.

Weigh-in and the final dose increase for Contrave tomorrow so I'm trying to keep my sodium as little as possible so water weight won't be a factor.

B:Almond milk chocolate protein shake. It was so delicious and lasted hours.

L: A stalk of celery spread with a Laughing Cow Light wedge and 5 cherry tomatoes.

D: Still eating...1 Amylu chicken burger, 2 fat slices of tomato wrapped in iceberg lettuce leaves.

LS: Probably around 2 cups of watermelon cubes or as many as I can fit into my carb budget for the day!

Have a great weekend!
