Happy Hump Day Menuers!!! Glad it is the middle of the week. Yesterday was pretty busy in the scale for a Tuesday, but it did make the day go by quick. Hit the Y for a 40 minute workout and then went home and got the rabbits bred.

I knew the Silver Fox pair would be right on it well like rabbits. You know the breeding was successful when there is what is called three fall offs. Jack is a big buck like a good 18lbs and Jill isn't that far behind him in size, but he was so gentle and loving. They even snuggled afterwards. Then we did the Cream D'Argents they are a few lbs. smaller and it took them a bit longer to figure things out, but Prince got the job done and then Princess was like OK I need to go back to my house I'm done with him. Some rabbits like to cuddle and snuggle and others don't. Now we'll see if the breeding took and if we will have baby bunnies in 35-45 days.

QOTD: What's the most exotic meat that you have tried? I've eaten venison, goat, lamb, tons of different types of seafood, but I would have to say alligator was the most exotic meat and it was actually pretty tasty. Tasted to me like calamari.

B: coffee and squash and eggs

L: Not sure I might hit up the local Mexican food truck

D: salad with grilled chicken

Weight machines and swimming at the Y.

Have a great day everyone!!

More baby goat pictures.

Happy Tuesday all. Your baby goats' names sound just perfect for them. Hope your time in the scale house will fly by.

This is the 2nd day of a blissful cool-down with a bit of rain. Our forecasters say we probably won't get any additional rain until September. Well, that is a typical hot and dry firebox of a summer for Eastern Washington. I'm praying there won't be too many new fires.

QOTD: None of my friends' families ever ate this but Mom regularly made SOS with a pound of hamburger. The economy was bad in the 70's and Dad's job seemed to regularly have 'RIF's so Mom made every dollar stretch with her food budget. The SOS was sometimes made with a can of cream of... soup but often just a white sauce made from reconstituted dried milk. The meat would vary...sometimes a can of tuna, the beloved hamburger or a 15 cents packet of Buddig sandwich meat chopped fine. If she weren't too tired it would be served on a homemade biscuit. Usually it was served on dry toast. And usually the side was canned green beans. We never knew times were hard, Mom made sure we didn't go hungry. Unless, that is, she was again on Weigh****chers and we'd go hungry from choice when it was mandatory liver night. Ugh.

Did an experiment today...took my morning Contrave at noon and had my protein/collagen shake then. I wasn't even hungry when I made myself start drinking it. For dinner I'm going to try to go a little more calorie dense and hopefully fight off the mental urge for an evening snack. I think it is mostly just a habit that I'd like to break.

My fingers are crossed for tomorrow and the first appointment with a plastic surgeon to discuss getting my 20+ yr. old broken nose repaired to make it easier to breathe. Will hopefully also get a ballpark quote on a blepharoplasty, getting some fat pockets under my eyes removed and a panniculectomy once I've lost all the weight again. A girl can dream... Like my surgeon's nurse said, 'Start saving your pennies for plastics!' lol

Have a lovely day, everybody!

When my father made lunch it was usually what he called Spanish Hot Dogs. It was a pan of tomato sauce with hot dogs cut up in it. It might have had onions too. We loved it but I never made it myself.

Good Morning! As expected yesterday was a chaotic but we got it all done. Today is the follow up day from everything that went out yesterday and working with my team to make sure everything gets posted then we move on to the next round.

QOTD: I haven't had it since I moved out from home but goulash (sp?) there are a few others but that came to mind first.

Menu during the day will be typical and then dinner plan is soy chorizo with eggbeaters on zero net carb tortillas. Exercise is done and water and vits on track.

Do 1 random act of kindness today, it'll have a boomerang effect.

It's been many years since I've had it. But we ate it all the time as kids.

Good mornin y'all.

well my myelogram was approved! Now I'm hoping to hear the good news about the CT scan today. My shoulder got aggravated by something, who knows what, and hurts really a lot worse. It's annoying me greatly. I am taking a few days off chainmaille. Going to take it somewhat easy all together. I hope. Tend to be a little stubborn so we'll see. I hate asking others to help me. It's a big flaw of mine.

Food has been a little iffy the past few days. Not horrible but about 400 calories more than my goal. Need to stop the peacing around.

QOTD: I cooked from an early age. One of my favorite things is scrambled eggs with pickle juice and a bit of mustard. It's so good. I still eat it occasionally

B: egg, protein bar & coffee

L: chimichanga

D: prob some kind of chicken, it's grocery shopping day so we'll see.

oldies I reworked a bit this morning.

That's one thing I could never do was scrambled eggs with ketchup and I know a lot of people who like that. I'm really not a fan of ketchup.

Good morning, everybody!

It's beautiful here in Chicago, as well. Marilyn made it to Florida last night. She has kind of a whirlwind two weeks - Saturday, her and my youngest drove from Chicago to Alabama, to move him out of his apartment, later this week. Then, Marilyn kept on going, down to Florida to drop off one of her cars at our house. Tomorrow, she is flying back to Alabama and on Thursday she and my youngest are bringing his car back to Chicago. Friday morning she is flying back down to Florida with me and staying for a week to take a break and have some work done on the house.

After all of that is done, she is staying put until we leave for Portugal in September.

The pool last night was absolute mayhem . Two and three people in lanes. I had two collisions in 200 meters and called it a night. Today is WFH, so I will try again at lunchtime. I have a sprint Triathlon August 3rd, but the swim part of that is pretty short.

My son is making dinner tonight. He is a pretty good cook, so I am looking forward to it.

QOTD: Funny that you said scrambled eggs, because the first thing that popped into my head was scrambled eggs with Ketchup.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Italian sandwich

Dinner: pasta

Have a great day, all!
