It has been cold and rainy in Ohio and I am still wearing winter clothes and turning on the fireplace. Feels more like March than almost June. I can imagine how cold poor Marilyn feels. I am waiting on pool weather and hope it happens soon.

There is a huge purple lilac bush in bloom next door and it is such a pretty smell.

I dropped cable years ago for an antenna and ROKU which was how to stream back then. Now TVs are much more advanced. I did get cable again when I moved here because I could not use an outdoor antenna. After a few months I decided it was not worth the cost. I do pay for Discovery, Netflix, Amazon Prime and other services depending on what I want to watch.

Good morning, Jennifer and Menuer's,

No complaints about the new office. But boss has still not scheduled my meeting. I have a slow leak in one of my tires and the dealer cannot take it in till Tuesday. I am not happy but not surprised with how bad the potholes are in Western Pennsylvania this year. I still wonder what my taxes pay for.

QOTD: I cut cable last year and I am saving some money, but I am not going to lie I really miss cable. I find myself searching for stuff on aps more than I am actually watching TV. However, we did buy an antenna for about $40 that brings in live TV. I only have it on our main television but when weather changes you have to move it for reception. Reminds me of putting foil on rabbit ears from years gone by.

Mornin Jim.

we cut cable a long time ago and do sling and Disney +. I don'****ch much of anything except PBS and some stuff on Disney. My mom watches a lot though and she had to have the news channels so we have sling.

Good mornin y'all.

I can't wait to see your Billy goat!

I have my first PT later this morning. Hopefully it'll be better this time around. I'm a bit skeptical but I'm going to do it. We may hit Sam's afterwards. I need eggs and cheese. It may wait until tomorrow though. I need to figure out how I'm going to arrange my bedroom. I have an extra shelf that I don't want to get rid of completely but don't want to use in my bedroom. It's one my late uncle made out of an old headboard so it's kind of sentimental. I may put it down in the basement for now.

i had a slip up this morning and had a rice crispy treat. Wasn't worth the 140 calories.p and the blood sugar spike. It's logged so I'm staying accountable.

B: egg burrito and the rice crispy treat + coffee

L: a PP shake and maybe half a serving of the Doritos we have left,

D: I'm thinking shrimp spring rolls sound good! Maybe an egg roll too.

have a great Thursday everyone!

Good morning, everyone!

Another early day for me. I have something going on that requires a lot of phone calls with the other side of the world, so I have been getting into work bright and early.

Marilyn is back and freezing. We are tentatively planning on going back in a couple of weeks to bring down her summer car, which we will keep in Florida year round. I have some small projects to do while I am there as well.

I will throw in a QOTD: Have people left cable? We just canceled DirectTV and are still finding our way around. We watch sports (mostly football and tennis) and like 3 shows, so hopefully we can make it work. Right now, Marilyn wants to do YouTube TV.

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: chili

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Gang. This is going to be quick as I have to cover the scale today. Should be fun. Today is my Friday and it looks like we are going to be getting a Billy Goat he is black, white with brown legs and when we get him I will post pictures.

I'm going to skip the QOTD as I just don't have the time to come up with something, but if someone else has something please feel free to ask it.

L: leftover pork ribs

D: tuna salad wrap

Hi! Nice to meet you all. I'm returning after many, many years with regain but getting back on track with Contrave now. Unfortunately I got discouraged and threw out all my 'dieting' info from when I first had revision to RNY and can't see a dietician yet so I'm trying to figure this all out again. I'm using Nutritionix for tracking and boy, what an improvement over online trackers in 2007!!! My daily goal is 1000 calories (but I always have a hard time getting there), 60-80 gr protein, 20-30 gr carbs and 20 gr fat. I'm three weeks in on Contrave and still trying to figure out how to eat right again.

B: 2.5 oz homemade turkey breakfast sausage (old WW recipe), 4 T egg substitute, 1 oz Monterey Jack, Almond milk protein latte

S: 1 Smithfield breakfast sausage link

L: Nothing, not hungry.

D: might go out for Chinese with Hubby since it is our 42nd anniv today. I'll try the Egg Drop soup, scrape the coating off a 2" slice of Almond Chicken and have some of the veggies from the Chow Mein. The rest of the combo dinner is all for Hubby, he can eat it the next day and I won't have to cook.

S: 1 serving of Syntrax Nectar Fuzzy Navel protein drink.

Exercise: attempting some gardening chores throughout the day. My knees and the side effects from the Contrave make it really hard to do anything meaningful.

As for movies, I'm an absolute sap and can cry over a commercial so pretty much any drama will get me.

Looking forward to getting to know you all. And curious to see what they've saved of my signature. Edit: I was able to figure out how to get in and change it (what the heck is a ticker?) to add my current weight. And need to fix it again, that is my current weight the actual restart on day 1 of Contrave was 228.

Good Afternoon, I can imagine how tired you guys were-you are always on the go. Today has been a project day and trying to keep things flowing since I have Friday off.

QOTD: I have cried at several movies. Most recently was when Em and I went and saw The Little Mermaid- it wasn't the movie itself but just the memories of Em loving the movie so much and the magic of seeing her when she met her at Disneyland.

Good Afternoon on Friday-eve! I think the red looks great, so bright. I hope you enjoy the long weekend. Im jumping back into training mode with my new employee and she still seems to be fitting in good.

QOTD: I have an appt for a cut/color and prepping for my trip to San Diego next Friday and definitely some relaxation time.

TSS: 10 years 9 months

B: SF latte, 3 turkey sausage links, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, yogurt and some fruit

S: A piece of fruit and yogurt

D: Zuccinin spaghetti with meatballs and some junior mints

ES: Protein ice cream and carbmaster toast

E: I took a rest day

V/W: On track

Have you ever watched, Miracle in Cell NO 7? If not, I think it would be a great film for a discussion group.
