BABY GOATS! OH MY GOODNESS!
I adore baby goats...goats in general :)
good mornin everyone.
i now have to get another myelogram. Yayness. Hopefully it'll be worth the effort. I still have to get a CT scan on my shoulder. Hoping to hear a date today on at least the shoulder. We'll see lol. I finally told my mom about the numbness I've been having when I lay down. She has been a little wrapped up in her own stuff so I just didn't want to stress her out more. This place and FB is my only space to vent and talk about things. I apologize as I know it's usually heavy.
i have discovered the all body deodorant. Amazing stuff when it's hot and muggy.
QOTD: goats...goats all the days. I love them. I would love to have an animal sanctuary for them and other mistreated critters. Pipe dream there lol
B: egg, feta, chicken sausage and coffee
L: not sure yet
D: chicken breast stuffed with broccoli and cheese.
a pendant I made by request and Percy, grey and white and Tange...the ginger.
Today is thrifting. I need to run to the post office too.
Happy Friday Gang!! So we didn't make it to the Y last night, but it was for a very awesome reason. We have BABY GOATS!!!!! On my way home from work actually I was almost home when Irvin called me all excited to tell me Thistle had twins. He said he had checked on the animals around noontime since it was so hot and muggy and she was still nice and fat. Then when he went down to feed them for night at 4 he noticed she was thin and was like what the heck. Then he heard the little ma ma coming from the back of the barn. He went in and there were two little kids laying in the hay all cleaned up. A little girl and a little boy. They look just like their dad except they have their mom's long ears. They are so darn cute and I'm getting out at 12:30 today to go help Irvin clean out the back part of the barn so we can separate Thistle and her babies from Bean. So, I have to get cracking and get a few things done at work that need to be finished up.
QOTD: This will be a silly one, but if you had the land and time would you get sheep or goats? While sheep have their purpose I am 100% a goat person. They are just such a lovable and personable animal. Irvin called a little while ago to say the babies are already running around trying to climb on him like silly goats do.
B: coffee no time for breakfast I had to go check on the babies :)
L: No idea as I will on my way home
D: grilled fish and squash
We will be going to the Y tonight as it won't take us long to get done what is needed to get the goats separated.
Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!!!
The little ones.
I agree. I had IBS prior to my roux my surgery in2004. Now I have to get an egd test for stricture testing. We have similar symptoms. Best wishes!
It was on if that counts? John was watching and I was zoning out on my phone.
Looking for feedback regarding food or other things related to intermittent diarrhea issues. When I started having the urgent issues around 15 years ago, I was told by a Gastroenterologist to take Imodium AD since it wasn't chronic. Over the years, it's been pretty consistent so I am assuming it has to do with the removal of a portion of the colon.
Thanks for any insight!!
Most often caused by foods with sugar alcohols. Most of them end with itol like sorbitol. Use Imoodium or find a different product with no sugar alcohols. Bariatric foods and vitamins will often cause gas and diarrhea.
Most of us have issues with constipation and take something like Miralax top help with that. I have never been "normal" after gastric bypass and do believe the bypass is responsible.

I do a lot of water aerobics and just walking in the pool. I buy water shoes that have holes for the water to flow out. They are also good for walking in the sand.
Jen, your gym sounds wonderful and I am so glad you are Irvin are enjoying it.

Did you watch the All Star game Tuesday? We missed it. Still getting used to being off of cable.

Good Morning on this Friday-Eve! I am glad that you are enjoying the Y, it sounds like it gave you a boost in excitement to your workout routine. Today is a mixture of meetings and projects so it should fly by.
QOTD: Flip flops since they are easy to slip on and off
My menu is the same during the day and I haven't decided yet if I want grilled pork loin for dinner or if I want something else. Exercise done and water/vits are on track.
I hope everyone has a great day.
QOTD- Teva Sandals, they are great in the sand and easy to remove. Thank you velcro.
I just got back from PT, I really need to lower my desk because that is what is aggravating my wrist. I also ordered and upright mouse.
I need to get back to work.
Have a great day everyone!
