Topic: RE: What's on your Monday menu?

Good morning Jennifer and Menuer's,

Well last week was rough. Anyone who has worked for a company as long as I have (28years) knows when the word restructure comes up it probably is not a good thing. I have been a mess for the last 2 weeks waiting on my meeting with the owner. On Friday I was informed that I will have a position, but it will no longer be a straight commission job. We have not talked about the fee I will be paid, but I know it will be salary with ability to make performance bonuses. This could have gone a lot different, so I am just grateful for the offer. I also leave for vacation on Saturday, so I have that to look forward to.

QOTD: I have Bamboo, corning, plastic, glass. I use the hard white plastic one the most but use the thick plastic sheets on top and then sanitize them in the dishwasher. I also am afraid of getting someone sick. I had food poising in my 20's and was in the hospital for a week and it was not good.

Accountability: Not bad, my stomach has been in knots so eating has not been a priority.

TSS: 7 years 4-months 17-days 166 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Premier Protein lemon bar and strawberries

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

L: eggwich and Mississippi pot roast

D: Crack chicken on 0 net carb tortilla

Exercise: dog walking

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great week my friends.

Brightest Blessings

Chrissy

I used wood cutting boards for years, then went to glass. Then someone told me that plastic was better for the knives, so now use plastic. Titanium does sound interesting. I use small cutting boards now because most meals are just for myself. I wash in dish soap and ho****er and then run them through the dishwasher.

I turn 77 today. It has been a fast and interesting ride. I feel like I accomplished everything I set out to do and no longer have much on my bucket list. Hawaii was one of the things I never did and now the plane ride there would feel overly stressful. But I think everything else on the list that I made 30 some years ago is crossed off and over.

It is strange in some ways to just be retired and not have any obligations or pressure on me. The term bucket list had not come into play then. I made a notebook with pictures of the things I wanted to do and then went through and figured out how to do them. I have always been a planner and always prided myself on finishing anything I start.

It is strange to have no goals, but sort of a welcome relief too. I can't handle cake anymore, but will have a bowl of ice cream later to celebrate.

Happy Monday everyone. Saturday was a total wash out and I was feeling tired and lazy from going in so early Thursday and Friday so I just did minimal stuff. Yesterday I did a bit more, but the darn wind was crazy outside which made it a bit cooler than normal so just stayed in the house.

I have to start looking at what days I want to take off this Summer. It seems like the days are flying by quicker than I want them to. We have two CPR classes here at work Tuesday and Thursday morning, but the rest of the week should be pretty quiet.

QOTD: Those of you who cook what type of cutting board do you use? I have a glass one and a bamboo one, but Irvin found a Titanium one that is supposed to be safe for knives. I'm always worried about bacteria even though I clean everything in super-ho****er with dish soap. I might get a small one to see just how good it really is.

B: coffee and egg salad

L: Rueben sandwich

D: Lamb gyro

30 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on vibration platform.

Have a wonderful everyone!!!

Good morning, everybody!

I had that breakfast meeting this morning, which went fine, it was a fundraiser for American Heart Association Heartwalk. One thing that they mentioned is that Heart scans are fairly inexpensive and the most effective way to tell if you have any closure in your arteries. I may try it just as a protective measure.

The weekend is all about getting the truck loaded for Marilyn on Sunday morning. Her Mom is coming out and they will drive down to Florida together. I will fly out on Thursday evening to unpack them. My daughter is flying into Chicago for a wedding on Thursday evening. I am going to leave my car at the airport for her, so want to get it washed this afternoon, if possible.

Unfortunately, I won't see her, just trade off cars.

QOTD: Our family room couches do not recline, but our basement TV room ones do. We don't use them that much because the cable isn't hooked up in that room - the kids had just used the TV for gaming. Our TV is upstairs.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Italian sandwich

Dinner: fish tacos

Have a great day, all!

I love Laz-y-boy furniture and have had a lot of it. I have a couch and matching love seat with recliners that are push button. I was considering living with my sister who thinks furniture should be formal and hates recliners. I was thinking I would be like the father on Fraiser who moved into his son's fancy living room with his comfortable old brown recliner. I am glad most of you like recliners and comfortable furniture.

Good Morning! Friyay! Maybe with an early start you'll get to head out a bit early for the weekend if everyone's done? My new team member seems to be catching on and so far fitting in well. I feel like we won't know for sure until the first really chaotic day which will be our 5th payroll, due to the calendar, we have a short turnaround time and may need to work a little bit next weekend. Tomorrow I have a chiropractor and hair appointment, Sunday I plan to just find something nice to do outside even if it is just sit at the coffee shop with a book and enjoy some cooler weather before it gets warm.

QOTD: In our living room, we have a sectional that has three recliners. In our entertainment room, we have two reclining chairs that are theater style.

Menu

TSS: 10 years 8 months

B: SF latte, 3 turkey sausage links, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, oikos yogurt and some fruit

S: A piece of fruit and yogurt

D: TBD, maybe grab something easy on the way home or step out once we get home for something quick

ES: Protein ice cream and carbmaster toast

E: 1/2 hour elliptical and 2 miles on treadmill

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:TBD

Have a great day!
