I bought a Sleep Number bed back in the nineties. They were brand new and called Select Comfort back then. I also had a Temperpedic bed. Sleep Number is ideal now because you can get it with heat and cooling and adjustable. But about $8,000 for the one I want so have been putting it off but will probably get one sometime soon. Once you get used to those type of beds you would never want a traditional mattress. You spend approximately 1/3 of your life in bed and it worth it to have the mattress that keeps you the most comfortable. We don't think twice about the price of a car and a mattress can be more important to our life than a car.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I will have to find that interview and watch it, I do think some twins tdo have some sort of ESP.
Good Morning, I missed posting yesterday during the day and by the time I would have been able to do so I am sure nobody would have seen it, lol! My new team member started yesterday and it seemed to have gone will (even with the overlap with the exiting team member). The next few weeks will be busy as I train and keep things running as smooth as possible.
QOTD: I think a sleep number bed would be amazing too! I prefer a firmer mattress.

Good morning everybody!
Did anybody watch the interview with the Australian twins who witnessed a carjacking?
Their names are Bridgette and Paula Powers and the interview is absolutely wild. I think that everybody is OK from the attempted carjacking and accident, but there is some spooky twinning going on in that interview. Maybe twins do have some kind of ESP.
It's pouring here in Chicago. I am home from swimming and it would be nice to go back to bed, but i need to be on a couple of phone calls this morning. Later, I need to go to the gym and we have Happy Hour tonight. This week is continuing to be fairly easy from a work perspective.
QOTD: I like about an average bed and a firm pillow. I need my head propped to fall asleep comfortably, particularly with the CPAP on. Of cours I can fall asleep instantly on the couch in any position.
Breakfast: Egg McMuffin
Lunch: Roast Beef sandwich
Dinner: Spaghetti and meatballs
Have a great day, all!

Happy Hump Day gang. I sorted through the bags of recyclable cans and bottles I've been collecting for the last month, and I have just over $100 to turn in. I mostly collect them at work but also walk my road picking them up since people just love to toss trash out of their vehicles. CT switched from 5 cent to 10 cent for redemption so it adds up quickly and a new redemption center opened just the next town over from me so it only takes about 10 minutes to return the bottles and cans now. Always trying to find a way to make a little extra money.
My garlic is really coming in nicely. I have 250 bulbs planted in this area.
QOTD: Do you like a firm bed or a soft bed? I would love to get a sleep number bed, but that's not in the cards right now. We do have a pillow top mattress that is semi-soft. Firm enough that you don't get sucked into the mattress, but still soft so you don't wake up sore.
B: coffee and quiche
L: ham and cheese wrap
D: chicken burgers on the grill

i hope you find answers soon.
Hi everyone,
I had right hip replacement surgery 08/2024 and about the 12 week postop mark and last week of PT, I started having severe back pain that I had never experienced before even before weight loss. Still 6 months later, I am still dealing with it to the point where I can no longer do my daily 6 mile walks. I?m now about to do more PT, and was put on Tramodal, muscle relaxer and a 6 day Methylprednisolone (1st day 6 tablets, then 1 tablet daily for total of 6 days). I?m worried about the steroids whether or not I should take them. The side effects says it can cause stomach irritation or ulcers. My searching says it?s a steroid, not a NSAID, but is it ok to take? It?s on my chart to not give NSAIDS, but just double checking because it?s happened before. I have to do the same with monitoring seizure meds and what I can?t take.
Thanks
Good morning everybody!
Thank you for the well wishes yesterday.
I think that today is going to be a pretty easy day. I am going to take advantage of the down time to run out and get my haircut. Probably run out to Crossfit after that. 10:00 to 12:15 is open gym and I usually go to that on Tuesday's. I have a call at 3:30, but not much else on the schedule at this point.
Marilyn was able to get all of the screws out of the boards from my lifting platform, so we are in good shape to load up the truck on Sunday morning.
The tulips from the mall came up yellow and pink, so far. There are some that have not bloomed yet, so we don't know whether they will be the same colors or something different. Anyways' they are pretty and we will definitely do the food donation again this year if we are around.
QOTD: Sometimes I do, but I don't know if it actually correlates to being lucky, or whether it is just a felling.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Fajitas
Dinner: Sausage
have a great day, all!

Morning gang. Woke up to a little rain, but it is supposed to get sunny and into the 70's today. Irvin put a 2001 F-350 frame on-line this past weekend to see if he could sell it instead of junking it as it's in very good condition and sure enough someone contacted him and came out last night to look at it. The guy was impressed at how straight it was plus there was zero rot on it. He was asking $1500 and the guy offered $1200 so he took it. He also junked some dirty aluminum he had and made another $280.
Then I had gone to the farm stand to get some milk and the owner Megan was there. She gave me a free 1/2 gallon on the house because she didn't have room in the refrigerator plus I also bought one.
And to top off the day I got a 3.5% raise. Yea Monday was a win all the way around. Wish everyday was like yesterday.
QOTD: Do you ever feel lucky? There have been times in the past that yes, I have felt that the stars or whatever have aligned in my favor. A few times it has been on lottery scratch tickets where I had won $250 and then $500. Other times it has been things like that happened yesterday. Would love to be lucky all the time every day, but I'm happy when even little things go right.
B: coffee and a slice of quiche
L: lamb and ham pieces
D: turkey and gravy
