I lived on protein powders the first few years. I wore out three Magic Bullets which was the popular personal blender back then. I also had an ice cream maker and made tons of protein ice creams. And made high protein muffins and cookies out of flaxseed. I have some protein powder in the house but rarely use it now. Some of the premixed shakes are really good and I keep some in the refrigerator in case I want something quick and easy.

Good morning, everyone!
I haven't updated my ticker yet, but I'm a year older today. Next year is a big one.
We had a great weekend - birthday celebration on Saturday night, got my lifting platform disassembled, and lamb lollipops for dinner last night. Also a good workout on Saturday morning, with the warm weather we can run outside again.
This should be an easy week. Next week (4/28) should be very busy though. We have multiple levels of firm leadership coming into town for various reasons and between meetings, etc. I have to be in the office 4 straight days and go to a dinner on Monday night. I actually reserved a hotel room one night because its just too much back and forth.
QOTD: I didn't try the powders. Every now and then I think about having a Premier Protein just for old times sake. I'm pretty well nourished though.
Breakfast: bagel
Lunch: catered
Dinner: steak and salad
Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning! It does sound like you had a great Easter weekend. Ours was very low key but we did spend a few hours with Em and Kobe yesterday which this mama heart always needs. This week will be weird with payroll going out today, new person starting tomorrow and one team member with her last day Wednesday. Time to put on my trainers hat again.
QOTD: I never really used protein powder much, shakes yes and I have brought them back for my ice cream.

Good Morning menuer's. I hope everyone had an excellent Easter. We had so much fun at Bob and Adrianna's. The grandkids had a blast playing outside games and there was so much food. One of their friends brought the lamb lollipops which were so tender and delicious, and we got to take some home.
Saturday, we got a ton of stuff done outside the weather was amazing and looks to be nice most of the week. My garden area is almost set and ready for planting in May. Hoping to have a really great vegetable harvest this year.
While I am not a religious person it was sad to hear of the passing of Pope Francis. He always seemed like a very down-to-earth Pope who was open minded about a lot of things.
QOTD: Does anyone here still use any protein powder daily? For the first couple of years after surgery I used it once to twice a day to make sure I got enough protein in then I just kind of stopped doing it. Over the last few months, I started using it again in my morning coffee, but it is more of a collagen protein powder to help with my joints and dry skin. It seems to be helping as I'm not so creaky.

The company is no longer operating in US, but you can still buy Nioxin System 2 on Amazon. It is a shampoo and scalp treatment and will take about three months to see a difference. I still had almost bald patches about three years after surgery and Nioxin worked wonders for me.

QOTD- No plans.
I got my hair done yesterday. My hair is thinning and it's driving me crazy. I'd actually thought of letting it go gray, but my Mom's hair is still salt & pepper and she will be 90 next month so not much hope of white hair like my BFF. She has the most beautiful white hair. The only suggestion I got was maybe biotin and possibly collagen but I've also heard that doesn't work. Any ideas?
TGIF I am so ready for the weekend. Today is beautiful but it is supposed to rain for the weekend. I'm going to wash my sheets and hang them outside.
Have a great day everyone!
