I do not eat eggs and only use them in baking.
Mel: that diet sounds crazy to me. But I love fruit and vegetables. I did a high protein diet years ago that included salad. It left me craving bread and potatoes and I gained back the ten pounds when I got my first taste of bread.

Good mornin y'all.
my appointment yesterday was ok. He upped my antidepressant again. I really don't care for him...at all. I think after the next appointment I will switch to the female provider. I just come out of these appointments feeling like such a failure. He makes me feel like **** just because I struggle with pain and treatment resistant depression.
today is my PCP at noon. I look forward to this one a lot more. I'm hoping to get the mounjaro upped. I also think I might have an ear infection. Will get him to check it just in case.
we'll be going to Sam's this morning. We get Frankie's special treats there. I also want to get some roasted seaweed.
someone has been trying to get me go to a carnivore diet to see if it'll help with my pain. I know i've been lacking in protein but I love veggies. We'll see. I may see if the library has something about it.
QOTD: hard boiled and just pan fried. I wish I could have bacon grease everytime! I might buy some. It's funny I don't like bacon much but love cooking eggs in the fat.
B: breakfast burrito and coffee
L: might get atkins bowl.
D: if Thai leftovers. If not maybe some baked fish.
Riley the other day with Mona. They love each other so much!
Happy Friday-eve gang. It has finally cooled down some and we are getting some needed rain showers after all the heat the last few days. Tomorrow starts my vacation and I'm not sure what we will be doing, but I do know Irvin wants to go to a restaurant he found in Tiverton, RI. He was watching some food challenges, and this lady did the cookie monster challenge which consisted of a 2-pound fresh baked chocolate chip cookie topped with 15 scoops of ice cream. While the challenge is for 2 people, she did it herself in under 8 minutes and won $200. Ice cream is his weakness, and I know he could do that challenge himself in under 10 minutes, but I told him I would rather just go and get a sandwich or something. I also want to go clamming if the weather is good enough.
QOTD: For those of you who eat eggs how do you like them prepared? My go to way is scrambled, but like hard boiled or in an omelet. Yesterday Irvin made 4 soft boiled eggs and what a difference between hard boiled. I think I might just start having them more often.
B: coffee and 2 soft boiled eggs
L: salad with cottage cheese
D: grilled chicken thighs
30 minutes on the treadmill
Have a great day everyone!!!
Thank you for sharing this emotional and important story. Judging patients based on their weight and ignoring their symptoms is disturbing and reprehensible. Every person deserves to be listened to and treated with care that is holistic and free of bias. Hopefully, there will be positive changes in the medical field so that people feel safe and respected when they seek medical care.
that's what i was going to say! All of our cars have been Hondas or Toyotas. I don't think we've ever had one last less than 17 years and under 200K miles!
Congrats on the 20 pounds!

Probably too late to be posting. I take Tylenol and use Biofreeze and both really work well for me. Jennifer that meme is so cute.

Hi! Hope everybody has a nice Wednesday. Hope today in the scale house goes well. It's so nice having a garden to come home to. Have to go on base again for the bloodwork that never happened last Friday. I'd better call out there to verify the hospital is open before driving 45 minutes for nada.
The grands were so much fun yesterday but wowie did it hurt. Pushing through paid off on the scale, knocked off a bunch of water weight and made it over the first 20#...21.5 lost in 4 1/2 weeks. It will settle way down of course but this was nice.
QOTD-Tylenol and occasionally some very old Canadian Tylenol, Arnica gel, CBD gel (In WA there is a coffee shop and a p*t shop on every corner, we so classy
) a mini tens unit, ice packs, heating pad, comfrey poultices and when things are really dire half or one of the precious saved BIG pain pills leftover from recent dental surgeries. I sure miss my Motrin, I recall it being a wonder drug but with ulcers...nope.
B-still not hungry but I'll make a shake to take with me to the base
L-probably nothing
D-a fake out ssam with fresh garden lettuce, chicken meatballs and kimchi.
I better get moving before I grow roots into this chair, the day after socializing I am always wiped out but having a reason to get going helps.
Hope your Hump Day is grand!

Train commuter.
