Hi all. Your meals sound good and give me great ideas. I haven't felt up to my usual cooking since starting Contrave but finally realize I actually do feel great and poor Hubby has really been neglected without complaint since May. It wasn't much effort but I defrosted cabbage rolls and shucked corn for his supper last night. He was so pleased to have a real meal that he not only un- and re-loaded the dishwasher, voluntarily took out the compost container and watered my pot ghetto on the patio. That was sweet but I feel so guilty.

Your swimming sounds heavenly, what a great facility and I bet after your training it will be a whole new kind of fun for you two. And kudo's to Irvin on that rabbit hutch, that looks like a very practical design.

Wish I could send you some of our weather. 85 degrees, a few clouds and a nice breeze. My PT lady is out sick today so I'm going to flit out and replenish my fat free cottage cheese stash.

Saturday is the 8 wk weigh in and I think I'm in a plateau but that won't prevent me from eating as clean as possible today and tomorrow. Prob. 2 meals a day and one snack. My usual shake for breakfast; dinner will be chicken breast, 1/3-1/2 cup whipped nf cottage cheese, cucumbers and the snack may be a hard boiled egg or a Fairlife shake. And LOTS of water, hahaha.

Edit: Forgot the QOTD! I color code the files for the house but that's it. Things like my closet and paper crafting stash are organized by their colors but that's about it.

I color coded at work and at home. My closet is organized by color and uses the colors of the rainbow. My home office has color coded folders and tags. I love to open a drawer and find everything in order and color coded if possible. It was not like that when I was a young mother. Now I have lots of time and patience.,

QOTD- I've tried but my organization skills are definitely lacking. I'm lucky if I can just get the basics done.

I'm struggling at work, I have to force myself to do anything. My wrist is aching and so is my back. I know I need to lower my desk but so far I haven't done it. It would help with the aching wrist.

I really just want to retire, if I could afford it I would quit today. Sorry I'm such a downer.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all and Happy Little Friday,

Yesterday was a mental health day for me. I got a couple appts done in the morning. Then the last week caught up with me and I had to lay down.

QOTD- Kinda. I have a sequence for medical, financial, and business stuff. It's a combo of words, letters and numbers. So I really just have color coded everything, as there are a vast amount of colors.

B: Nothing yet. I'll probably do a yogurt and lox w dill and Greek yogurt.

L: ???

D: Teriyaki Chicken and broccoli. Salad.

S: string cheese.

Today, I'm grateful for beautiful weather, grateful for bad weather, which is beautiful in it's own right. Grateful for not engaging with the landlord's instigating more than absolute necessary. Grateful to catch up with my brother. Grateful to know each day is a new start and independent of the previous day. Grateful for this forum.

Good mornin y'all. Jennifer that hutch looks great!

I've got a busy day ahead. I have an appointment this morning with my case manager. Then we're taking Rachel to shop for a few shirts for school. Then we pick up the other two from GT camp...come back home for a few hours then my brother will pick 'em up around 4. I've got to wash sheets and maybe move some stuff down to the basement. Not a lot. Mainly boxes and a little night stand.

We are trying to decide how much we're going to donate to the flood victims and to who. We're thinking world kitchen or a bank fund down there. It's just so very sad. And though our leaders say that questions about the warning system are "the words of loses" let me tell you. Us Texans are mad. That's all I'll say about that before I get in trouble again.

I'm getting the supplies for a belt my boss is having me make. I need to brainstorm for another idea or two. I have a few ideas running around up there...need to draw it out.

QOTD: I am about the absolute worst to ask about organizing. I suck so bad at it. I have tried color coding but it always, always, ends up in chaos. I have resigned to the fact my creativeness thrives on chaos.

B: breakfast burrito and coffee

L: prob something on the go. We have to think about what we'll feed the kids.

D: chicken breast and some tomatoes

Happy Thursday Menuer's. Another night of swimming went well. I did a half hour of "jogging" in the warm water pool which isn't as deep as the lap pool and then we moved to the lap pool and swam for another half hour. We are both really liking going to the Y. Saturday we will get the training on how the different machines work and I'm really looking forward to that.

Irvin's been working his butt off on the big outside rabbit hutch so we can get them moved outside and get them bred. Of course today's weather is absolutely craptastic with rain, but atleast it isn't swamp ass muggy like it has been. Heck the other day we got showers and thought it would cool things down, but it made it worse if you can even imagine that. I think my sweat was sweating so gross.

QOTD: Does anyone color code things when they organize stuff? I don't do it at home, but at work I do especially for my quarterly solid waste reports. There are certain towns that have either curbside pickup, commercial pickup or comes from a transfer station so those all get a special color so I know which is which.

B: coffee and two egg bites

L: ham and cheese wrap

D: grilled shrimp with summer squash

Swimming at the Y

Have a great day everyone!!

Irvin working on the rabbit hutch.

Hi! Wow your garden is amazing, all of your hard work pays off. I had several meetings today so I didn't have time to pop on until now. Tomorrow we start the smooth sailing towards the weekend and I'm ready already lol.

QOTD: When I first had my gym membership I liked getting to know the group that would be there opening with me and we held each other accountable. But after Covid (when all I could do was workout at home) and starting the new job it's just not as convenient as doing it at home. My treadmill is great but I have replaced my elliptical a few times (they always start to squeak!) so it works for me for now.

menu and all that was the same today as yestrrday! I hope everyone had a great day!

I fell in love with computer programming in 1967 and never stopped being amazed at what a computer can be programmed to do. I especially love artificial intelligence. One of the things that we may see in our lifetime is a tiny inplant in the brain that will make it possible to understand other languages without ever studying them.

There also may be inplants to make it possible to do various math problems. We do have language programs and everyone has a calculator on their phone.

I love looking at all of Jennifer's plants. Nothing tastes better to me than a ripe tomato from the garden.

Good morning and Happy Hump Day,

It's a really nice day. Since I got out of the habit of posting daily, I'm having trouble incorporating it back into my routine.

Drama with the landlord. Same old story; I'll be out in 3 weeks and done with him. My health stuff isn't going great but I'm addressing it. I saw wu-Tang and run the jewels Monday and it was one of the worst concerts I've been to, in recent memory. The sound was so bad that it ruined the concert.

It's going to be a great day.

QOTD- A woman.

B: Half bagel and lox.

L: Pulled pork and g. Hughes BBQ sauce, vinegar coleslaw with ez sugar.

S: frozen grapes

D: Leftovers, salad and something green.

Dessert: 1/2 Cannoli donut.

Good mornin y'all! So glad you got it Jennifer! That's awesome!

Yesterday we got the coffee table put together. What a PITA! It's done though and looks great! I am going to be in pain more so for a while. Pics will be attached.

Today my mom has a doctors appointment. Then she has a coupon she wants to use at a local place for her b-day. We may go to bath and body works. We have a free item coupon. Hoping for a nice body wash. I don't care for their lotion all that much.

QOTD: chainmaille ideas keep me going. In all manners of life. I know it sounds stupid but I love doing it and I'm pretty darn good at it. I love when an idea works. Sometimes I dream in jump rings.

B: little omelette and coffee

L: not sure what that'll be. My mom wants BK today also it might be a wrap from there. 290 calories for them.

D: I might have some popcorn today. Either that or a PP shake and maybe some cantaloupe

A meme and the cats loving the new coffee table!
