Bra suggestions for deflated large breasts?

Can anyone tell me what types of bras you use and are satisfied with if you had atleast a DD prior?  I am currently in a 42 DD from a 48 DD.  My breasts do not have the lift  they used to have....they are beggining to look deflated.  I used to use Just my Size and Playtex 18 hour bras but have found they don't work so well with my boobs as they are now.  Anyone else have this problem and find a solution?  I did buy a couple bras from Lany Bryant for almost $40 a piece and they seem to work well but I am wondering what else some of you have found that have worked for you without spending a small fortune or is that they only way to go.  Thanks. Mitzy

The Cacique Balconette from LB is the only one that works for me. I bought 4 of them when they had a buy one/get one free sale. They are getting a little big now but I am waiting for another sale. -Wanda

Hi Mitzy - I have to tell you that the best bras I have found for my 40DDD deflation devices are Cacique from Lane Bryant. I only have a couple as I know (hope) that I will get smaller--hate to spend that kind of money to only be able to wear them for a month or two. Good Luck! vicki

I'm looking for good bras too.  I really hate to shop at LB now.  I'm in a 34 to 36 C right now... pretty sure... any suggestions on good shops to hit.  I should really get measured accurately too.

This is what I was worried I was going to hear.    I guess I am just going to have to bite the bullet and pay that much and look for the sales. Mitzy

I suggest visiting Victorias secret. When i was a 44 DD I used to buy bras there. Ive lost 142 pounds, from my highest weight ever and believe it or not, my boobs have not deflated, they have gotton smaller but not deflated, Im looking at a breast lift when I have my tummy tuck at the end of the year. If they do deflate by then, then I suppose I may research implants. Its a miracle. LOL. I now wear a 38 C and the Victorias secret bras have been wonderful for me as far as lift and fit.

Oh how I wish!... i will be the big 5-0 this year. I have been a slow loser and lost my weight over a 3 year period, still losing. I really think that has had a part in it, somehow, as strange as that sounds. The loose skin has shifted into other areas, people tell me I dont look like I need a tummy tuck but trust me, once the clothes come off, I need a tummy tuck. My arms are not so bad but my thighs are so next year, once ive saved up for that, i will have a thigh lift. Many blessings to you, on your journey! If iIcan help in any way, do not hesitate to send me a PM. Blessings~S

I'm not sure if you have any outlet centers around you area...but I have been able to find good bras at the Maidenform outlet from the clearance rack (50% off the clearance price)...and only paid about $6 each.  You can also watch Victorias Secret clearance rack..I'm not sure how big they go up to though.  I started out at a 42C and now wear a 34B.  (That's mostly flabby skin that I "roll" up into a bra...hahaha)  I usually go for the type that "lifts" and supports that way I don't look so droopy.

I also have a few Cacique (spelling) bras from LB. I got 3 of them for $12 when they were having the friends & family 40% discount sale!!!!      If you get on their email list, they will send an announcement along with a coupon!   They are pretty good, but there is a store here in Atlanta called Intimacy and they are located in Phipps Plaza.  I go there when I can afford it.  You can go in and get fitted for a bra right there.  They are the greatest!  I went in to get fitted - went into a little fitting room and a lady came in and asked me to take my top and bra off.  She looked, made me turn around, tapped my breast and held it in her hand, then brought me back a bra to try on.  I thought - "are you kidding me, you didn't even use a measuring tape!!!!"  How about the darn thing fit perfectly!!!!!  It was a 36F    I was in shock.  Then she said, "Oh, just think of the "F" as Fabulous!"  I wore the bra out of the store!  Although their basic bra is $50 it feels wonderful!!!!  There is even some special detergent to purchase to hand wash them with.  They say that a bra should NEVER go into the washing machine!  That's what puts the most wear & tear on them.  ....and all along, I thought it was my heavy-a$$ breasts!   LOL
