WETEO's - Whatcha' Eating Today Everyone

Meetings, meetings and MORE meetings today.  Came home and did 30 minute walk with the dog and then whipped up two batches of cupcakes.  The first batch I successfully threw the bowl in the sink and did not succomb to eating the raw batter .... however, not so successful with the second batch and I had a few TBS of the batter.  It is still as good as when I was 5 years old.

Other food choices were pretty good today.  We had chinese & pizza brought in for one of the meetings today, however, I ate my "healthier" tunafish.  So at least I won that food battle!

Not too good today my Nancy:

Eggys choclate expresso protein shake    230 cals and around 35grams of protein

Eggys Mexican casserole for lunch

Then to the show and POPCORN   Bad Bad but split with DH and grandson...who had it on his lap in the middle.

Not sure what dinner will look like!  My sweet grandson is spending the night...I'm thinking either out for Mexican OR  chicken with Italian homemade sauce...which would be better since I won't be tempted by the chips.  Take care all

Waters in and a small walk

Hi Patty -
Hope you have a blast witht the grandson.  Actually your food does not look that bad.  Plus you did share the popcorn.

Hi, How do you make your smoothies and what is in it? Never been a fan of protein drinks but I want to do more. I thought maybe I would like a protein smoothie. Thanks Julie

I don't make them. I bought it at this smoothie place.  I like them because they don't add any sugar to the smoothie and they use fresh fruit. I do have them add a scoop of protein.

How are the local supermarket stores around you?  While I do tend to cook myself, I frequently do buy the rotissurie chickens.  They also make turkey breasts, small hams, etc.  There more money, however, I leave at 5 in the AM and don't get home typically until 6:30 PM so they are worth it to me.  Also, I try to prepare some of my lunches on Sunday for the work week and I also prep some snacks like yogurt parfaits, etc. for my Mom.

I have a lot of grocery stores that sell these items.  I just never get them.  I actually bought a chicken today, and had some for lunch. It was good, thanks for the suggestion.
