I had to giggle at myself a little while ago.  Back in the day I used to love to soak in the tub with a glass or two of wine.  Tonight, I had a soak while sipping on my dinner.. a chocolate protein shake. Boy, things sure have changed!

I like my protein shake okay, but not enough to linger over it! But I know what you mean. Cheers!

Yeah, it's good to have a chuckle about such things.

I chuckle at how my tastes have changed - I get excited about being able to have steel cut oats for breakfast now that I'm in maintenance! Oooooh!!!

I loves me some steel cut oats.  I am looking forward to incorporating them back into my meals someday!

Lordy, I'm not one to savor a protein shake either. I mentally hold my nose and gulp the thing down.

Now, soaking with a nice glass of wine... And a candle or two...

And it is funny how habits change.

LOL, y'all.    I found two shakes I really like and I drink them exclusively.  One is the EAS (low carb) rich dark chocolate the other is GNC swoss chocolate.   Both are ready-to-drink as opposed to powders, I think that makes all the difference in the world.

This made me laugh..thanks for that! I am in Canada and I get my protein shales from Costco..they are called Premier and they are pretty darn good...I can imagine lingering in a bath with one.

These are ready to drink. They come 18 to a box, $24.99. 30 grams of protein and pretty good taste. At $1.38 a pop, they're much cheaper than any of the other high protein ready-to-drinks.
