Depression

Since my surgery I have been diagnosised with bipolar disorder and depression so that I cannot work. Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone else had problem with gaining weight without realizing it? How did you lose it? What can I do short of going back to liquids only?

There are oodles of meds for this disorder. Explain your concerns to your doc and see if you can find one without that as a side effect.

Silly question: Why can't you work? I know several people that do well at work as long as they take their meds. Once you find your balance, whatever you do - never stop taking your meds. It never leads to anything good

I too have bipolar depression I am on diability because mine is so severe I take I am on 3 differnt depression meds, a mood stableizer, a sleep med for insomnia, and My adderall for add I see a psychiatrist. Mine is stable for the moment.
