So today I've been post op for 10 days.

I've lost a total of 34.5 pounds, or 20 since surgery.

I've gone down in my belt to a smaller notch as of yesterday

My jeans (42 I think) are fitting loose

A coworker asked my why I'm sagging today - I told him Ive lost weight, apparently from my (_!_)

My work shirts are fitting MUCH better... they were pretty tight there for a while preop

My incisions are not really bothersome anymore. I can bend over... I can wash my legs without issue... I can put on my shoes without issue... I can walk my great dane and/or labradoodle with no issue (none of these were issues preop, just post due to stitches in my abs)

I have a lot of work to do on identifying when to stop eating so I can stop having these friggin slimies.. Aside from that, I'm rockin along pretty well.

Note to vets: This has not been posted on my blog so is not a crosspost.

Note to newbies: I am not an expert. The above mentioned items are strictly my experience and just wanted to share.

You should be measuring your portions. You may not be able to identify "full" triggers for a while.

I'm glad you're doing great Chris. It's a journey for sure. As we go along, we learn so much about ourselves. It is a blessing to even get to have a chance at normalcy again.

Keep up the great work. "sag on".

NSVs are great. Slimies can be avoided... If food is getting stuck- which creates the slimies/foamies.... the mantra is - small bites, eat slowly, chew well... and make sure it is moist. Lack of any of those can get you into trouble.... They are no fun... take your time!
