Monday Workouts

 I had my best day yet today......I ran 4 out of 5 miles and I felt strong while doing it.  My average pace was 13min. 10sec. per mile.  I also went for a 15 mile bike ride on my mountain bike.  We had great weather today.  I wish everyday was like today.
             
                  "Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
I run for those who can't or won't.  I run because I once was one of those people.

4 mile run this morning.  Felt a little tired towards the middle but I maintained 12 1/2 minute mile pacing and it seems that I always fall somewhere between 12-13 minute miles so I consider it a good run if I stay in that range.

HAD A HUGE PR TODAY..... I swam 3.1 miles (5K) in 1:20:19. Catch ya'll later...

Had to do the hardest thing for me, take a rest day. I ran 16 miles Sunday and I am resolved to follow instructions so I went with my wife and she ran while I walked. The last few times I have done my long run I don't think I am progressing like I should. But I am not going into these days rested like I should. So, I will take a rest day before and after my long run. This Sunday I am to do my longest run prior to the marathon, 22 miles.

rest day on Monday for me... back to the gym today (tuesday), will probably start out light this week.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??
