Tuesday's Workouts
I overslept this morning, forgot to set the darn alarm. Didn't get to the pool for my 6:00 a.m. lap swim. If I don't get called in to work, I'll go at 11:15. I like to go early because there aren't many there, but I'll suck it up and show myself in my bathing suit to get the workout in...

I couldn't justify going to the gym in the snow so I did 1.2 miles around my house. Luckily the guy down the road with the 1/2 mile long driveway plowed early so I used that for about half of it. It's okay because I had a kick ass run yesterday including 2 miles at 5K race pace.

Today I am heading back into the gym after my 4day hiatus. We had a death in the family and had to travel a few states away for the services. Now I am back home and ready to get back in the gym!
Today I will be doing at least 30 mins of cardio, probably treadmill to warm up and then elliptical.
I am also going to work on my lower body muscle groups with weight training. I want to work on my calves, thighs, butt and abs. I am hoping that I can get a decent work out in 30 minutes though it may take me longer.
I meet with the personal trainer on thursday so I need to get my body ready for the beating.

Ran 8 miles for lunch across the frozen mississippi and back. I am training for my first Marathon in May and am starting to increase my mid-week run to a semi long run. Today was that. On Saturday, I am moving my long run up to about 15.5 miles. Last long run I did 14.5 which is the longest I have ever run.
