Need support...
Ok, so I had a nasty respitory thing all last week, finally I am over that, so I started running again on Sunday and then again today. My problem is that I have lost so much of my endurance in just a week, is that normal? I was running 3 miles with no problems, and then I was able to run 3 miles plus with a little extra effort, but right now I get to about 2.5 and I find myself having to push to get the rest of my run in. I just need to know if this is normal????

i slept at a hilton garden inn last week, so i'm not even a pretend doctor :)
you really won't lose any or much endurance being out a week. like andrew said, you are probably still recovering and your body is most likely run-down because of it. i would just take it easy and listen to your bod. good luck!

I really need to start staying at the Holiday Inn....Thanks guys...I am doing better, I just am frustrated because I have my 10k coming up at the end of the month and wanted to be farther along in my training, but I am a week behind now....I will have a little cheese with my wine....thank you very much....:))))))
