My biggest shortcoming...

I know that my biggest shortcoming in my revision to RNY surgery coming up will be exercise.

I am severely agoraphobic, so the idea of getting out of my house and taking a walk induces panic attacks. I thought it would be better by taking my DOG out for walks instead, but the stress is still too much to handle.

Does anyone have anything to suggest to help me that doesn't involve leaving the house?

Weird, it cut off my post. Here's the rest:

I have an Xbox 360 with Kinect and am going to try one of their fitness programs (Your Shape Fitness Evolved) since it is only a $10 investment... but curious if any others have had something that works for them I might try?

My kids have a Kinect and we still play with from time to time and you will be moving with it. I also use some workout moves from my pinterest acct. I bought some weights and kettle bell and when I don't want to walk or go to the gym in my apartment. I turn the music up on my TV, put on a fan and go to town in my bedroom doing exercises. Much success to you. I think the main thing is to keep moving.

Yes. Leaving the house with someone else I do okay. Unfortunately, the only person I know in my town is my husband and some of his co-workers. I recently moved to this state (and telecommute for work) so meeting people - as scary as that is due to my anxiety - hasn't really happened.

My DH is going to try to take walks with me as often as he can... but looking for something to do from the mental comfort and safety of my house for a regular and reliable exercise solution! :)

Youtube has a lot of free workout videos from beginner to advanced.  One channel I use a lot is Fitness Blender.  They have videos from yoga, pilates, HIIT, etc.  All from the comfort of your house.
