I agree about Celebrate. I plan on getting my vitamins/supplements/shakes, etc. from them. For me, simplicity and routine are keys to compliance. Their website covers all you need to know!

Topic: RE: Homemade broth VS Store bought.

Bone broth is much better for protein levels, collagen which is good for healing etc. This is the recipe I use in my instant pot. I would choose to use less of the salt because post op right now I'm sensitive to it, but I also use a garlic salt medley as part of my spices. I made a few batches, after skimming the fat once it chilled I froze it in ice cube trays so it was about 2tbsp in each. That has worked out because two equal a quarter cup which is how much broth I was told to take in per serving. It?s a great recipe...you can skip all their experimenting and go straight to the recipe if you hit the jump to recipe tab just under the description. Oh! Also I didn't use chicken feet because it creeps me out I just used a turkey carcass I had frozen and still got great gelatinous results.

Sorry, I meant TESPO. It's like a Keurig for bariatric vitamins and it is awesome, but I just don't know how well they actually work yet. I'll know in April when I have my next bloodwork done, I guess!

Nutritionist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Bariatric Center told me that Celebrate Multi 60 and their Calcium chews would be all I needed. I priced them because I am on a fixed income. They will run me about 105.00 every two months. With OTC vitamins you will have to buy several different types and the cost could be a lot higher with more vitamins to take than with the Celebrate. To me Celebrate is worth it.

Topic: RE: Vitamins

Just had my appointment with the Nutritionist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Bariatric Center. She is suggesting Celebrate Multi 60 and Calcium chews. Celebrate has all the vitamin requirements and is less expensive than having to buy five different types of vitamins to full fill your daily regiment. She told me to take two Celebrate Multi 60's at breakfast and then a chewable calcium for lunch dinner and snack. I priced Celebrate on there website and they will run me about 105.00 every two months.

Topic: RE: Vitamins....what kind and is there a "one dose" solution?

I just had my appointment with my bariatric centers Nutritionist, she told me that Celebrate Multi Vit 60 had everything I needed except the calcium. I would take 2 Celebrate multi vit 60 for breakfast then a calcium chew for lunch dinner and end of day snack. I would not have to take my b 12 separately because Celebrate already has it in the multi. If you bought your vits from otc you would have to buy at least five different vits and that could cost a lot. I priced Celebrate on there website and it will only cost me 105.00 every two months. hope this helps.
