The husbeast and I are looking at options for new phones. He hates his IPhone, and my Droid RAZR is about three years old at this point, so it's time. We'll probably stay with our current carrier (Verizon) and are looking seriously at the new Samsung Galaxy S5. Any thoughts you'd care to toss out there?

The last post I saw was her staying that she felt the need to interview possible playmate's parents to prevent him from entering into what she thought were dangerous situations. That sounded to me like a mother being slightly over protective in her approach, but well within her rights.
I didn't read Heidi's post to say that she loves him any less, or considered him a loss cause, instead saying that he has tendencies which resemble his father. Being irresponsible and selfish which are things she saw in her ex, yet two things that a whole lot of parents can say about their teens, older teens and sometimes young adults.
Maybe you missed Heidi's previous post wherein she stated that she wished her son were never born. (I think that might have something to do with how we're interpreting her latest post about her son.) This is not the first time she's spoken in a derogatory manner about her child.

Ha! That's an awesome graphic. It's almost a shame it's amusing, the sentiment we really should be feeling is horror.
Edited to add: I don't mean to trivialize the subject by just commenting on the graphic. To be honest, I've followed all these developments for some time now, and what I feel mostly about them is sad resignation. I don't see any way to change it; politicians are in the pocket of big business and moneyed donors, so they have no interest in challenging the systems. I know, that makes me part of the problem...they're counting on people like me just shrugging and saying "What can you do?" but really, what can you do? We live in a police state, that much is evident. I have no clue how that could be fixed, though.

Because you have to consider the intelligence of people who are concerned that President Obama is coming for their guns and yet thought nothing of the Patriot Act!
Snowden is a whistle blower, as is Bradley Manning - they are not traitors. They did this for the people - there has been NO evidence that anyone was put in danger by their acts, and the furore over them compared with the whimper about what they revealed shows what sheeple we are in this country!

I'm going to try a different method of pickling than I normally do (heat processed). This year I'm going to make dill pickles in a crock, sauerkraut, kimchi, and who knows what else!
