I'm a dumper

Anything remotely sweet my stomach does fip flops. Oily or fatty food, forget it. I can't even eat fish because it has oil in it. Have to boil it or mix it with mayo.

It is hard to cook with no oils. Even olive oil I am sensitive to.

I had a pear the other day. It tasted a bit sweet, sure enough, up it comes.

Really got to watch what I eat, or I'll pay the price. Anybody else feel this way ?

Nope.  I can ea****ermelon.  Mind you I have had only one piece.  I have eaten pears, peaches, any other fruit.  Watermelon has a high sugar content.

No problem with fish or food that has been prepared in fat.  (restaurants).

Good luck in managing that!

I was like that for about 3 months post op - especially around supper ime - it seemed that i was ok in the mornings and as the day went on the less tolerant my pouch became of any food , however - i can now say that i really dont have any food issues presently (im 11 months out now) , i have to be carefuly because i can certainly tolerate sugar and most fats .  Bear with it for now an make good choices - Your doing great

Aha!  My only dumping situation happened with fish.  Your comment about fish and the oils in it made me realize that yes I can't handle that either.  I always mix it with greek yoghurt or other sauces.

So sorry that is happening to you.  At least you'll always get your protein in :)

I was having a similar problem mostly with dinners. But it seems to have pasted and unfortunately sweets do not make me sick so have to watch it.

I get it.  I was able to tolerate almost anything when I started eating solids.  Then all of a sudden Wham anything with oils now causes me the full range of dumping syndrome palpitations, cold sweats...kind of feel like dieing would be better feeling.  I wi**** came back up unfortunately I get to suffer till it passes.  Last time was about 1.5 hours of hell.

Unfortunately the same can not be said for sugars.  Well natural ones anyways or the ones in red licorice...their natural right?    (I laugh about this now because I am no longer craving red licorice)

You look great and probably feel great. (When you aren't dumping)  So keep it up things will change again for you I am sure.
