interesting. I thought it spoke realistically about the risks and benefits of WLS. i liked how Dr. Christou said "if your mortality rate is above 0.5%, you should stop doing the surgery".
This is a really good balanced article. I like the fact the doctor suggested better follow-up for current patients before expanding. This would be a good article for all people wanting surgery to read.
Exactly! And I like that it was pointed out that there are already a million people that meet the BMI criteria who could benefit from the surgery. They need to expand finances before they decrease the BMI! LOL
