Fitbit/Pedometer Help! Pls
At this point, because I work in an office and I'm here late a lot, I'm aiming for 5000 - which is WAY under what I should be walking, I know. I'm a work in progress! :)
Eventually, I want to work up to 10,000, and after surgery my goal will be around 15,000.
Feel free to add me as well: http://www.fitbit.com/user/26LWH2 :)

Well in truth, I'm working my way up to it. ;) I had 3429 yesterday, so I know I need to make more little changes - taking the stairs when I can, etc. :)
I'll get there!

FitBit's first goal 'badge' is 5,000 steps. You can set new goals as you achieve them.
Be sure to calculate your stride length (google how to do this) and enter the number in your settings in your fit bit.
If you don't enter your stride length it will default to 0 and you will be logging more steps than you actually take. This would then have inaccurate information reflected in your dashboard for number of steps, active minutes and calories burned. Best to be accurate to gauge your progress.
