Good afternoon :)
We are at my mom's house so we are totally off our routines... It has been very challenging.
This morning we went out touring and got some lunch at a little cafe which was an old converted one room schoolhouse. Then we drove around looking at the scenery. Apparently my winter boots are not very waterproof so I will have to glue them and seal them again before next year.
QOTD: I don't know if this applies, but I have rosacea and there is a gel the doctor gave me that works really well but I had to stop it for pregnancy and breastfeeding. I paired it with a face moisturizer and sunscreen. It was the best my face skin has ever been.
Post-op four years.
Breakfast - nut bar
Snack - banana
Lunch - beef soup, chicken panini
Snack - leftover soup, protein bar
Dinner - chili
Snack - unknown
All water and vits.
Good morning lovely menu Peeps. We are almost at the weekend. Today I am going back to the gym to get my ass handed to me again. Yesterday I didn't get my first meal of the day until 5pm, so no lunch for me yesterday. We will try that again today.
Tonight we are going out with friends to a pub for dinner. I have been craving wings so that will be my choice.
QOTD: We are advised to do all these things to stay beautiful and healthy. Exfoliate, drink ACV, Take Pre and Probiotics, Drink Lemon water, Omega 3's. I think there are not enough hours in the day to try all of the things that we are recommended to do. What things have you tried that you found made a noticeable difference in appearance, chronic pain, or health? Swimming helps with the pain in my back and leg. The water supports my torso and decompresses my spine, and because I swim in a hot pool, by leg muscles ease up and I have greater range of motion.

Looks like your menu is soft so that it doesn't hurt your mouth. Hope it feels better soon.

Good morning everyone. Well I didn't get posting at all yesterday since my dentist had a cancellation Monday afternoon and I went to have my one wisdom tooth pulled spur of the moment rather than wait until mid April when I was scheduled. Needless to say I wasn't doing too much eating.
QOTD: Hmmm I would have to say a good stew is my favorite crockpot food.... then chili is a close 2nd. I really don't have recipes for anything I do in the crockpot, I just throw in what my taste buds are shouting for and of course lots of spices. My mother was a by the book cook and didn't even have a spice rack so always comments that when I cook it tastes better than hers ;) Pulled pork is a great crockpot meal CC. Go for it!
My menu is boring since I have to do liquids and puree for a couple days.
B - protein shake
S- egg bite
L - cream of mushroom soup
S - SF pudding with powdered skim milk powder
D - either more soup or possibly canned chicken with some Swiss Chalet sauce
S - few swigs of protein shake

Good morning everyone. Late start for me today. DH is working from home today, which means I have to tiptoe around the house because he's on conference calls. Didn't end up going out last night because the fur baby wasn't feeling well.
Today I am going to the gym and then I have to make some calls. My workout at the gym yesterday has me sore all over. It's a good reminder to get back on track.
QOTD: Fav crockpot recipes please? Yesterday I bought a pork blade roast that is already to throw in the crockpot for carnitas. It came with the spice and everything for only $5. Gotta love the weekly meat sale. So I'm thinking pulled pork, with avocado, sour cream, and maybe some salsa on top.

Hello All.
It turned into such a beautiful day here, I went for an extra walk when I got home with pooch. I'm just coming up to my 5 month post surgery, and still find it amazing how quickly I feel full. I learned the hard way the signs that I'd eaten enough and that one time having to purge really made me be aware of my body signs (pre surgery I would just eat my whole meal, seconds, dessert, whatever and enjoy the stuffed feeling).
I still find I eat between 750 to 900 calories each day - I know everyone is different, and as I am still losing weight at a good pace and my hospital support staff all are happy with my food journals/weight loss I guess this is what works for me.
Reading what others post, I guess as time goes on I will adjust as needed - my goal weight is 165, so I never plan to be skinny just at a healthy weight that works for me. Actually, I'm amazed at the compliments I'm already getting at 220 pounds and I'm out of the bigger plus size clothes, wearing size 16/18 pants and xl tops - so exciting!
Here is my food plan for today is:
B: 1 hard boiled egg & decaf coffee with milk (1/2 hr after egg)
S: sugar free source yogurt with 3 strawberries
L: 1 protein bread (9 g protein - and taste great) with my homemade chicken salad
S: sugar free pudding (because I just really wanted it today!)
D: plan to have homemade chili (3/4 cup and still takes about 20 -25 minutes to eat)
S: plan to have Protein shake ( maybe just 1/2, will see how I feel)
Plus lots of water and all vitamins except evening ones to still take.
Tomorrow is Spring - so excellent!
Sunny

Hello there,
Same thing happened to me, actually the alarm code is one of the first thing that really alarmed me and then my passwords for my computer, my brain would just go blank, it would take me hours to remember things.
then I found out my ferritin was a low 2!! my b12 was low in the 200's and my other vitamins as well.
took me a long time to level out and I am still struggling with my ferritin after years of infusions
check your vitamins and take care of it now
good luck!!
