Topic: RE: Second Round of PS - 12 Years After the First

My butt fat transfer is technically a Brazilian butt lift. Turned out nice so far. Who knows how much I will lose to reabsorption. Please be wary of the thigh lift being done with the other stuff. It's no cake walk with a very high chance of complications (firsthand experience here)! I wish I had listened to others and done that separately.

All the best to you!

Congrats on your loss, but didn't your PS require that you be weight stable for a while before surgery? I'm surprised.

Also are you planning to do all of those procedures at once? From what I know personally and from other people who have had plastics, it is tempting to get it over with, but it also makes it MUCH harder to heal without complications. You are also having significant lipo and that is really hard on your body in addition to the other procedures.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but you may not be pleased with the results and have a much harder time with recovery.

The nerves are normal. Just use all that anxiety to make lists of questions and if he is a good doctor, he will want to answer everything to make you comfortable. That is why I decided to go with Dr. Forman, no question was too dumb or avoided. Also as people told me, take this time to refocus on your dense protein and healthy eating. Also strong thigh muscles will make the getting up and down easier...lots of walking, swimming and some weights if you can.

I decided to go with Dr. Zachary in Chicago. He was my most expensive option, but I like the fact he's been doing these for decades, he specializes in body contouring for massive weight loss patients, and that he does all his surgeries in a hospital (and makes you stay overnight there).

so August 10 is the day. After an afternoon of exhilaration, I was freaked out about it last night ("what am I doing? This is so expensive - do I REALLY need this? Or is this just 'the thing to do'? Why do I want this again?"). Feeling a little better this morning. I suppose it's because it's all suddenly become real to me...

I do remember feeling that way too. Also, my PS told me that if I didn't myself long enough to heal before I started working out that I would continue to swell and prolong my recovery.
