Hi! I had my thigh lift done on Jan 10th and I started reading your journey during my recovery so far. I have lots of questions I would love to ask you. Also just wanted to let you know that your story has helped me a lot. The thigh lift has been much more painful than I expected. I also had a Mons lift and some Lipo done around the love handle areas. You are a great writer as well. I enjoyed the parts about your roommates And loved the honesty you told that you don't hear from other recovery blogs. Hope you are doing well in your recovery!!
I also have a couple pieces of compression wear I'd be happy to send off to a new home:
Marena Ankle-Length Compression Girdle - size L, black
Design Veronique Compression Arm Sleeve with Adjustable Cotton Knit Bra - size L, black
Just drop me a line if you're interested in either/both (I'm in Canada, so Canucks may want to take advantage of that!).

Hi all - I have some compression girdles that I no longer need and I'm wondering if anyone is interested in them?
Ankle length, fully separating zippers - I've got these in sizes XL, L, and M. (Measurements are on the site and taken around the widest part of the hip.)
Ankle length, not fully separating zippers - M
Above the knee girdle, fully separating - M
Below the knee girdle, fully separating - L
If you're interested in any of these, please private message me and we can work something out.

Thanks for your input. I will talk to my surgeon more about it and see what it would take.

I've definitely heard of this happening - really the only way you can find out is by talking to your surgeon and your insurance company.

Do you have a plastic surgeon already? That's the only way it could happen. An obgyn wouldn't do any reconstructive plastic surgery. He'd just do the hysterectomy.
I was having a lot of issues two years back and my obgyn said that if we decided on a hysterectomy, he could do it at the same time as my panniculectomy.
It didn't work out in the long run, but that's all the real life experience I have.
Hi folks,
In the next month I am scheduled to have an open hysterectomy. I am wondering whether whether they might be able to remove some of the extra belly skin while they are doing surgery. Does anyone have experience with this? It would be a nice 2-for-1.
