I love my new doc office

Soo...we had our first appt with the new doc office.  I had already spoken with one of the new docs when they decided to take me early on(he called me and discussed my preg over the phone before he ever saw me...how cool is that??).  Dr Moore is on vacation but I saw his partner and boy oh boy, what a difference a practice makes!  I love them!  They are sweet, reassuring, and no longer have me listed as high risk!  How cool is that?  Got to see the lil one and shes great.  She is not breech any longer, she is now transverse.  The doctor actually did her own ultrasound...cool.  She was talking to the baby the whole time...."Lil miss you cannot stay like that".  Bella looks good...she has not gained any more weight...in fact, this u/s puts her 3lbs, 10oz instead of the one two weeks ago that said 3lbs, 14oz so she is in the 50% so they are NOT changing the due date at this point. She is still tracking a little ahead but everything looked perfect, including her HB.

So...we go back on 3/8 and see his partner again and then we have another u/s on 3/22 to determine a)renal fluid how its doing, and b)whether she is now head down.  If she's not, they will probably discuss C-section at that point.  They did not have my records yet from the reg ob, just the high risk doc.  The regular obgyn tells me..."oh, we just put them in the mail today."...umm...they requested them faxed a week and a half ago at least.  Whatever.  I am so glad to be rid of them.

More than likely, one of these two docs will deliver Bella(over a 90% chance they say) so I like that too.  So courteous and kind.

That is teriffic news! So glad that you like the new Dr - I think that makes all the difference in the world no matter what type of Dr it is! I LOVE my practice and all the Drs that I have met so far.

I hope that Bella moves into position by your next visit - at least she is 1/2 way there!

I'm glad to hear that this practice is better than your last one. Sound like it was definately a good choice to switch.

I'm glad you love your new doctor, that's the way it should be!  This is one of the most special times in your life and you need to have a wonderful experience with a doctor that you love.  Good for you for switching!!

It's SO reassuring having competent Dr's take care of you isn't it? I'm glad you found a practice you are happy with. Makes a HUGE difference!
