I definitely have had cramping identical to period cramps early on with both of my pregnancies. I have been so nervous both times, but I have been reassured by doctors & other mothers that this is completely normal : )

Hi, I am new to the forum and pre-op - waiting for the date for my RNY. Firstly, I have to say, I just saw your pictures - most of them, and I admire your courage.

Secondly, congratulations!  I am an environment where everyone is having a child - and have tried without success - no one understands that weight is a contributory factor - 360 pounds of it.

Enjoy every minute of it, if God willed you to be at this point - He will take you through it.

Lastly, you give me hope that it is possible.

It is most definately possible, Look at it this way soooo long trying helps u appreciate it even more I know I do.  I was pleasantly SHOCKED when I missed my period and the stick turned blue. I cried the sweetest tears I have ever cried in my life GOD IS GOOD and HE DOES ANSWER PRAYERS!!!!

I am somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks pregnant, I think, with my 2nd.  I had period type cramps with my first and definitely have them with this one.  I was carrying around a tampon in my pocket thinking I was going to start any minute.  It is definitely normal :)

I'm just behind u in due date...was really surprised to find out I am prego on Wed.  because I thought cramping was period related as well.  Dr confirmed pregnancy with ultrasound yesterday thou! I was told to keep an eye on the cramping as it may not be prego related but suregery related. (had mega complications post-op and I may have endometriosis)

Congrats on the preggo but sorry to hear about the endometriosis. I have not yet had an ultrasound, and I am freakin out about how long I have to wait. My first appointment is a month away, so unfair to make me wait so long the anxiety is killing me

I HAVE THEM TOO AND I GET SCARED EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS! I AM SEVEN WEEKS NOW AND I CANT WAIT UNTIL I AM AT LEAST EIGHT WEEKS BECAUSE THERE'S ONLY A 5% RISK OF HAVING A MISCARRIAGE.
