Ruby is 6 weeks old today!

Well, like a lot of Mommies, I seem to be way too busy to post here or reply to posts but I do check in every once in a while.

Ruby turned six weeks old today. She's the sweetest little thing in the whole wide world. It's certainly been challenging but so rewarding. She has some pretty serious reflux so she's on Zantac for that. I hate having her on medication but the reflux episodes were downright terrifying and the Zantac stopped them. She still spits up a lot but she's more of a "happy spitter" now. Anyway...here are a few pics from Facebook.

I had my six week post partum appointment today and everything is fine. I go back to work Monday but I've arranged to work two days a week in the office and the remaining hours from home. My husband is off on Mondays and Tuesdays so Ruby will be home with one of us every day. I know getting any work done is going to be a huge challenge but I'm very motivated to make it work. I just can't drop Ruby off at a daycare center...at least not yet.

OMG she is SOO cute! Our little girls are only 2 days apart. I have my 6 week checkup tomo. How much does Ruby weigh? Sage weighed 10lbs yesterday, I was just wondering if they are growing at the same rate. Congrats momma she is perfect!

She was 8lb 8oz at her last appointment which was at 4 weeks. She was 6lb 15oz at birth. Sage is a little doll too!

She is a cutie!! Sounds like things are going good. I'm glad you guys can be with her and don't have to send her to day care yet. I'm trying to figure that out too.

I love the name Ruby! I really wanted that on my list of possible girl names, but I have an evil aunt named Ruby, so that's out of the question! LOL

Awww, so cute! Rowan was a refluxer as well, it helps to use a crib wedge and always keep her as upright as possible for 30 minutes after meals. I even used a towel to elevate the head of his changing pad! He grew out of it by the time he was 5 months I think.
I can't blame her for her favorite sleeping position, if I could sleep draped over someone like that, I would too!
